Wings of Fate *Discontinued*

I'm Sorry

I didn't really want to do this, and I was extremely hesitant when I made the decision to do this, but I've discontinued Wings of Fate as of now. Like I said in the title, I'm sorry. However, I am not finished writing. 

I did discontinue this story, but it was a decision made over a long period of absence. The main reason I discontinued this story was because of my work in life. I tried to overwork myself and get a chapter out every other day. That was a bad decision to begin with, and I wasn't able to keep up. 

On top of that, this story wasn't very fun to write. I chose to write because it was fun for me, and this story wasn't any of that. It followed in the steps of other stories so much that I found it unpleasant to write. It didn't feel unique in any way to write. I would sit down to try and continue this, but then felt bored bored (a feeling similar to that of a chore or work) out of it. I think that may be due to the fact that this was too cliche, which is a thing I had hoped to avoid when I started this. 

Another main factor was that I have been absent for so long that I doubt many people still keep up with me or my writing. There were also many other side factors in this decision that still affected me coming to this result. 

I could spend a few pages to write a long and detailed apology, but I don't think that is the best choice. Starting now, I'm avoiding the things that have caused this. My update schedule will be less demanding from now on, and I will create measures to ensure I avoid any cliches. I think it would be better to begin a new story as of now rather than spending the time to make this as detailed as I can. My main point is that I'm sorry for discontinuing this, and that I will not discontinue again for as long as I can. Hopefully this will help to make an enjoyable experience for me, and to you as readers. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and again, I'm sorry. I hope you can accept my apology and stay with my writing.
