Hours went by with them staring out the window, the sky slowly darkening. "I don't get it they should've been here hours ago." She said worry showing in her tone. Nick looked at her before placing a hand on her shoulder. "They'll be here soon, they might of came across something you know cops are always busy nowadays." He said giving a smile. "It doesn't seem right though, Loomis would've said something. Something seems..off." She says looking towards him. " Maddey I-.." Nick is cut off by the sound of a vehicle coming to stop making them both scurry to the window to see blue and red lights flash through the house.

"See, like I said probably were busy." Nick smiled before getting up and walking towards the door. His hand grasped the knob before Maddey grabbed his hand pulling him back. "Wait!" Nick looked at her startled. "What's wrong?" He says letting go of the knob and turning to her. "Nick I'm telling you there's something not right about this." She says looking towards the car. "Don't you think they would've of came to the door and escorted us to the vehicle?" Maddey says fear slowly rising.

"Maybe they think we're going to come out to them?" He says chuckling a bit before turning the knob only for Maddey to yank him back towards her. "I'm serious Nick!, Michael is smart he knows how to lure his victims into false sense of security until it's the right time to kill them." She says fear racking her body. Nick looks at her before looking back at the cruiser. "I'll go check it out." He said making Maddey shake her head. "No!..No way!" She said before dragging him back towards the kitchen before he rips his arm from her grasp. "I'm going to check it out Maddey, we need to find out for sure." He said annoyed. She looked at him with a frown before sighing. "Okay fine. Take a weapon though and if anything happens run back." She says with a serious tone.

The October breeze flows against Nick as he looks towards the cruiser, baseball bat in hand before taking a step only for a hand to grab his arm. "Please be careful.." He turns and smiles. "I will. Lock the door behind me." With that she closes the door upon hearing the door lock he begins slowly walking towards the cruiser. She watches through the window as she scans the area for any signs of Michael.

"Hello?...ummm officers?" He calls out only to get silence in return, he turns looks through the window to see a silhouette sitting in the seat. "Hey?..Officer?" Silence.

He grabs the handle to notice the door was unlocked with that he opened it only for him to drop the bat and step back. "Holy shit!" His eyes come in contact with the body of the police officer in the vehicle. The mans jaw broken almost seemed like it was ripped open with teeth missing. He turns away before throwing up on the pavement. He grabs the bat ready to bolt inside only for the the crunch of leaves to catch his attention. "W-who's there?!" Fear slowly rising he walks towards the other side of the house.

Maddey watches as she sees Nick disappear to the other side of the house, making her panic. She turns towards the kitchen taking a seat at the table before watching the door. She stares at the door waiting for Nick growing more worried causing her to stand up until the lights turned off. She froze fear blazing through her body, her heart beating rapidly against her chest causing her to breath quick breathes. The feeling of being safe is long gone only for danger to invade her body. "Nick!" She screams frantically looking around the house before limping into the kitchen opening the drawers. "C'mon!" She cries only for her hand to grasp the object and flick it on, the beam of light flashes around the house as she points it around looking for anyone.

She turns and grabs the large kitchen knife before hesitantly walking out of the kitchen. Silence fills the whole house causing goosebumps to erupt all over her body the flashlight shakes in her grasp as she comes upon the living room. Her eyes scan the area. "Nick?" Silence. A slight breeze catches her attention as she sees the backdoor wide open causing her to freeze. She feels numb the feeling of safety completely gone, she almost drops her knife when she sees the droplets of blood that lead from the door to inside the house. She shines her flashlight at the blood following the droplets causing her to take slow hesitant steps. She watches as the trail leads to her room.

Her hand grasp the knob before turning it, she searched through the room expecting Michael to be waiting there only to be met with an empty room. Her eyes land on the blood only to notice it lead to her closet she limps towards it. Hesitantly she opens the door knife ready in her hand only to be met with sweaters and shoes. Confusion hits her making her lower the knife until the soft click of the door closing was heard.
