The Evil Within

Halloween

The moon shined bright in the dark October sky illuminating the busy street of Haddonfield, the children visiting the neighbouring houses collecting their tasty treats. Among all the sweet laughter of children stood the silent shape observing from beside a house with his knife close to his side. His eyes moved over the area before he took a step forward only to stop as he sees the familiar vehicle from the many years inside the hospital. 

His eyes scan over watching the car slowly stride by as it slows down more before coming to a stop as children cross by in front of it. Michael examines the figure inside from a far as he notices the older man, Loomis looking around the streets as in hopes of possibly seeing the shape watching, waiting for him. Movement beside Loomis catches his eye as the shape looks over to see the blonde girl in the passenger seat, his Maddey asleep peacefully against the window. Michael's grip on his knife tightens as rage boils in him as thoughts run through his head. The vehicle start moving again as Michael glares before disappearing behind the house with the blood of his last kill still fresh on his hands as it drips off of his knife and onto the ground. 

"Where could you be Michael....?" Loomis scans the houses as he moves through the neighbourhood hoping to see the pale mask staring back. The thought runs heavy in his head as he holds his gun tightly in his hand hoping to kill the shape once and for all. The car suddenly comes to a stop as he takes the keys out looking around the area as it's highly busy with children and their parents, looking over he looks towards the girl as she's peaceful snuggled up in his jacket. He get out before locking the doors leaving the girl as he holds his gun quietly walking out into the busy street keeping the gun to his side. 

~Hours pass~

The young girl slowly stirs as her eyes open before she sits up uneasy looking around, noticing she is alone. Last moments run through her head, being locked inside the abandoned Myers house with Michael then to Loomis saving her. Wait Loomis, where was he?, She turns towards the drivers seat only to notice the keys and Loomis both gone. Fear courses through her at the thought of being alone with possibly Michael hunting her down again, chills run down her spine as she sits up shakily looking outside. The dark streets quiet now as every trick or treaters have gone inside for the night. Her eyes scan every window, every house, every corner in fear of seeing the blank mask staring back at her. 

"Where are you Loomis...?" She quietly lays back down in the seat waiting for the older man to come back as she closes her eyes quietly. 

The sound of glass breaking as pieces fall onto her as bloody hands grab her roughly yanking her out as she screams kicking and fighting against the shape. She kicks his hand making him let out an audible grunt as his grip loosens a bit allowing her to climb into the drivers seat unlocking the door before she forces it open before falling onto the ground. Pain rings throughout her body, adrenaline kicks in as she quickly gets up shakily running. The shape moves away from the vehicle, his hands cut and bloody from the broken window as a few pieces of glass stick out. The all familiar chase between predator and prey, watching as her terrified figure staggers with each step. The hunt begins.........
