Tora's POV
"How are we going to prove that we are ghouls?" I asked. Hanako stared at me and then looked back at Kazz, confused and perplexed. I really hoped that Kazz had thought this through, and if he didn't we would probably be killed or likely have to show our kagune and then be killed or imprisoned by the CCG.
"She has a good point Kazz, how are we gonna prove it?" Kagome asked, tilting her head to the side. Kazz seemed to think for a moment, his face a mixture of seriousness and concentration. He touched a finger to his chin, thinking for a little while. Eventually, he started to speak.
"I'll have hopes that this will play out at as I assumed. These ghouls are not the type of ghouls to think too much. If they do ask for verification, I will simply just show them my kagune." He said, his voice full of hope. Did he suspect that the ghouls were stupid animals? We were a lot smarter than most thought and we had to think tactically. Of course, they would ask about us, of course, we would have to show our kagune. He had thought this through. Kazz knew that if we were put in a life-threatening situation, we would most definitely be forced to show our kagune. He was a lot smarter than I had first assumed. They must have seen my confusion and thought process as they had now all been staring at me.
"What about it then Tora?" Hanako repeated. I nodded, still clueless as to what they had been discussing while I was thinking. Kazz had turned as was now heading out and just out of the corner of my eye I could see him smiling. He knew that his plan was going to work, and we would be the living proof of the fact that ghouls can hide in many places.

After a short while of walking through the streets, the moon now overhead, I walked up to Kazz. He smiled back at me, a forced smile. He never smiled, and I knew it, he knew it. We both suspected the worst. He probably knew that Hanako and I were ghouls somehow, possibly my fight with the female ghoul a few nights back, but even that wouldn't be enough to prove that I was a ghoul let alone Hanako."How much further?" Hanako complained, touching her foot. She walked like a zombie for a few steps to emphasises her pain.
"We're almost at the car," Kagome explained, glancing back towards Hanako. Hanako smiled and picked up her pace a bit. I was quite curious as to why the car was so far away from a meeting place, possibly an extra precaution. I hadn't noticed, but I was now walking next to Kazz. He said a simple sentence, not even looking at me.
"Caught on, have we?" He asked. I avoided his eyes, as my own precaution. He wouldn't get through to me. I knew that somehow had to get into private contact with Hanako to explain to her what I had discovered, and the fact that Kazz had just said that only proved my point even further. He did know about us somehow. This made me mildly scared, but if he had no evidence, he could not kill us or imprison us, so Hanako and I just had to hold out.

Kazz's POV
I suspected that Tora had caught onto my plan by now. She suddenly seemed too distracted, proving my point. She knew my plan and she understood that she could not do too much to prevent it. Hanako did not know, nor did Kagome. It would shatter her if she knew that I suspected her best friends of being ghouls and it was quite sad. I had grown quite fond of both of them on our first contact as 'friends'. It was also quite disappointing to see that such a young and generous girl such as Hanako was indeed a ghoul. Now, let me explain how I came to this conclusion. It all started about 5 months ago when Kagome mentioned that both her friends worked at the same coffee shop. Often, the so-called 'peaceful' ghouls worked in places such as this, like the forsaken Anteiku. That raised my suspicions so I started to investigate. I gradually searched the coffee shop, going there every day I could in different disguises. Each day led to more evidence, but one proved it all.
In the back fridge was a large pile of bagged meat, labelled as different organs. This was quite odd for a coffee shop to have meat, so from then on I installed cameras inside the shop to monitor the motions. Each day I saw a girl go into the back room and pull out one of the bags and then proceed to eat the meat raw.
She was a ghoul, she was Hanako.

Tora wasn't quite different. If Hanako hadn't been so careless, I might have passed it as a simple coffee shop, but after further investigation, I noticed that most of the customers were suspected ghouls or known ghouls that had been in hiding. Now all I needed was solid evidence, their kagunes appearing or their eyes changing colour. I would win and finally, save Kagome from her written fate. I couldn't bear to lose another team member let alone a friend.~~~
We arrived at the car shortly afterwards. Kagome sat in the front, blasting some music that both Hanako and Kagome sung along too. Tora remained silent in the backseat, staring blankly out the window as I drove. I passed a few signs pointing to the different areas, eventually making it to our destination. Thankfully, traffic was fast and we arrived in about 15 minutes. It was still dark outside, the perfect time for an infiltration mission. The car pulled up outside of a bookshop next to a menacing alleyway, the location of the butchery. That was our mission or the cover-up of the mission.
"Let's go," I said, pushing my door open and jumping out. We each got out and headed towards the alleyway.
