Chapter 10

Tobias POV

As I slowly open my eyes, I turn and see a peaceful Tris. The wedding is in a week. I can't believe I'm finally going to marry the love of my life. All of the trials and tribulations of my past is slowly fading away. I soley want to focus all of my care, love and attention towards Tris.

I slowly rise from the bed, not bothering to put on a shirt, and go to the kitchen to make breakfast. Tris has to go to work at 11:30 and its currently 10. I decide to wake her up after I set the table.

Walking into the room, I see Tris slowly waking up. I hide behind the door. I'm going to scare her. Gosh, I'm so mean.

She gets up slowly and calls my name.

"Tobias?" She walks towards the bathroom. Just before she passes the entry way of the door I was hiding behind I jump out and roar. I hear Tris scream and see a fist come at me.

turned..... black.

Tris POV

I wake up to a cold side of the bed.

"Tobias?"

He must've went to the cafeteria. I get up and walk over to the bathroom to get ready for my job.

Just as I'm through the door of the bedroom, I hear something creak. I turn around and a tall man roars. Before I know it, my fist connects with my attacker. Must be my dauntless side.

I look at the fallen man and realize it's Tobias. Crap. I lightly slap his face

"Tobias? Wake up.... Come on...Crap." I walk to the kitchen and grab cold water. I walk over to him and uncermoniously dumped it on him.

He flails his arms and screams.

"Tobiassss I'm sorry you but shouldn't sneak up on me like that."

He looks at me with a confused look.

"Who are you?"

I stand there in shock. Did I just knock Tobais' memories out of his mind?

I start pacing and pacing. This can't be happening. A week before the wedding. This isn't happening.

As I pace Tobias comes up behind me and picks me up and starts tickling me. How could I be so niaeve.(I know I spelt that wrong. It doesnt have the accents on here) He throws me on the bed and continues tickling me.

"TOBIAS......." I try to sqeak out between laughs. "STOOOOPPPP." He finally stops after I'm crying of laughter.

"Okayyyy okayyy I'll stop... On one condition.."

"What?"

"You go on a little adventure with me tonight."

"Deal. What time?" I say as I sit up and head to the kitchen. He made breakfast. I swear this kid is amazing.

"7pm. I'll pick you up at your work."

I finish up my breakfast with Tobias as were talking about nothing special. I glance over at the clock. 11:15. Crap. I jolt up and sprint to get ready.

*Time lapse*

After 6 hours of touching people bodies with needles and inflicting pain upon them, it's finally time for my date.

I sprint to Christina's apartment and borrow a black skin tight dress with neon blue heels. I put my hair into a flowy side braid.

I go home and wait for Tobias to come home from work.

I watch some episodes of Wipeout when I hear the door unlock. I make sure I look presentable and go into the kitchen where Tobias is.

He is making a sandwich when he notices me. "Hey Tris....." his train of thought trails off when he looks at me. His mouth is left hanging open. I just laugh and pull him into a kiss.

"Be ready to go in 20 minutes my beautiful fiancé." he instructs

"I've been ready babe."
