Sometimes the things we wish for dearly are right in front of us, but we are too blind to see them.
Eren's POV
I woke up, still thinking about the napkin note from yesterday. Why would he think I won't be there today? I've come every day and I'm literally obsessed with him...
Anyways, I got up and followed my usual morning routine. My outfit today was a little more "extra" than usual. It wasn't very me, I guess you would say. I usually don't wear shirts with graphic designs on them.
Then, I had a quick breakfast, because I was already running a little late. I ate some strawberries and drank some lemonade. Not the most filling breakfast, but it was enough to last for at least classes.
I made my way out the door as fast as possible, not wanting to be later than I already was. My professor was a bit on the harsh end of the scale, so I figured he'd have some form of punishment waiting for me.
The air outside was sharp and crisp, as it blew through my hair and clothes while I walked quickly. The zippers on my bag jingled with each step I took.
I walked into the door of my professor's classroom, and everyone turned to face me. My professor spoke. "Ah, the doctor's boy. Why are you late this time?" Yes, I have been late before. And yes, my father is a doctor. I don't know what's so interesting about that that my professor has to mention it every time he talks about me or talks to me. "I.. uhm..." I stuttered. He wouldn't believe me if I said I didn't wake up on time. "Speak to me after class, please." He interrupted me in a frustrated tone.
