namjoon starred at the screen, contemplating on his next move. he had been practicing the words he was going to say, since he knew he was never good with talking.
he sighed, "i can't text this to him. he deserves better." namjoon scrunched his face, then suddenly nodded to himself.
you
hey jeongguk
i know you hate me
or you're mad at me
or both
probably both
but i just want to apologize, but you dont deserve it over text
if you can, meet me at the park near the beach at 4:30
i'll be waitingnamjoon shut off his phone and stood, walking downstairs. he slipped on his shoes, and gripped the door handle. "i'll be home later momma, love you!" he walked out of the door, shutting it behind him.
he quietly walked to the park, rehearsing his apology. he hoped he wouldn't slip up, he really wanted to make things right with jeongguk.
he slowly made his way towards a bench, and sat on the far side of it. he starred out at the sea, a sense of longing in him. he just wished he could swim away.
time passed, and namjoon checked his phone. 5:17. namjoon sighed quietly, putting his phone back in his pocket. 'he'll come. he will. he'll come.'
eventually, the sun dropped, the sky turning a mix of pinks of purples. namjoon smiled bitterly to himself, shaking his head as he stood. "i can't believe i expected him to come. of course, why would he come?"
namjoon muttered to himself, starring at the ground. as he walked, he saw a pair of red converse [ yes i did ok leave me ALONE ] in front of his own shoes. he paused, lifting his head, "sorry i wasn-"
there was that buck toothed smile, but it didn't meet his eyes. namjoon felt a sting in his chest as the other boy chuckled. "it's alright namjoon."
