Chapter Thirteen: Plan To Save My Biased Part 2/2-Confrontation

Now the next step is for me to go on a little visit to the Manor of Strange Decay. Dongfang prove me wrong and tell me what I think is going to happen isn't what's going on at all! "Sect Leader, after all those charismatic words you said just this morning where are you leaving to?" Yun Yin questioned as I was packing a few stuff, he caught me when I was sneaking a bit for some food in the kitchen for the journey. "You know, returning to Chang Liu" I lied. "Don't lie to me Sect Leader, I know you're not returning you've already told Immortal Superior and the elders the plan for your return, you can't fool me"

            Oh my god, this boy is too smart for his own good, letting out a sigh I turned to Yun Yin and told him "Just cover for me ok? I'll be back in a few days" "Sect Leader" "Consider it your Sect Leader's orders" "But Sect Leader!"

            "Yun Yin, if you still consider me your Sect Leader, you will do this for me" I told him as firmly as I could. Taking his silence as a 'yes' I took my packed bag and started to leave "This is about Taoist Qing Xu's missing body, isn't it?" His words stopped me. (Sigh) I guess I should tell him "Follow me for a bit" We went to the morning hall together "Why are we here Sect Leader?"

            I pulled Taoist Qing Xu's real body up for him to see "What? How? I thought-""What they've got is the fake body, I've already hid the real body and made a fake body because I suspected that this might happen, I have an idea about who might be the thief and thus I have to go, it'll just be a few days, don't tell anyone about this, I'll take care it" I explained as I re-hid the body into its original stolen crime scene. I turned to see Yun Yin making an expression between hesitation and trust; I put my hand on his shoulder to make him pay attention to me "Don't worry and just trust me, trust in the trust Taoist Qing Xu had for me, in all of us" I reassured him "I'll be back in a few days, I'm just going to the city"

            "Yes Sect Leader" To make sure that my plans work, I was dressed in the darkest black I can find and put on a bit of makeup to disguise myself. I arrived at the Manor just in time to see the brow-less guy enter, looks like my calculations are quite correct but how do I get in the Manor without being caught? Hmm, his Manor is in plain sight for a reason, it'll be weird if I just jump right in.

            Wait, the shadows! Now that gives me an idea. I asked for Mother Nature's favor and blended into Dongfang's female bodyguard's shadow that was escorting the brow-less guy in. The moment she let her shadow into a dark corner of where she was escorting the brow-less guy to Dongfang; I slipped out of her shadow and stayed out of sight.

            Comparing the look of things and what I already know, I don't have much time if I want to stop this; I better act quickly, a servant passed by me so I quickly hopped into their shadow. I can feel the earth that I've controlled before so I went with my senses of the coffin as a guide. Under the cover of shadows, I went to my destination where I know may be a heartbreaking scene for me. Using his magic, Strange Decay tried to get Taoist Qing Xu to tell him the location of the ten deity devices.

            Somehow, it made me feel sad that I have to see him like this. Dongfeng tried again and again but his magic didn't work, he looks exhausted even with his disguise "Pavilion Master, are you alright? Maybe you should take a rest" his female bodyguard tried to wipe his sweat; keyword here 'tried' because he rejected her, that's right you should not accept her touch Dongfeng! Wait, am I getting jealous? "I don't get it, why won't it work!" Dongfeng let out in frustration.

            "You can try a million times until you dry yourself out, but you won't be able to get what you want out of that body Lord Strange Decay, ever" I told him from the shadows. "Who's there?" Dongfeng shouted out while his female bodyguard got into position in front of him. "Come out!" the female bodyguard shouted, the nerve. "Taking orders was never my forte, especially from one of my rivals" I stated as I came out from the shadows, I wasn't revealed to them yet because of my black cloak covering my eyes that only my nose, red lips and a bit of my neck was visible.
