Chapter 2-

MATHEW:

All of this felt so real. It felt so wright but something inside of me felt wrong. I heard something from behind me but I ignored it. Then I heard it again. It sounded like someone walking and it got closer and closer every second. I pulled away from the kiss and looked around. Nothing.

"Is everything okay?" Alyssa asked.

"Yeah. I just thought I heard footsteps or something. It was probably just my imagination."

"Probably. I didn't hear anything."

ALYSSA:

He leaned in again, but before he was close enough to kiss me his phone rang.

"I'm really sorry. Do you mind if I take this?" He asked.

"Sure. No problem." I said as he answered and walked away.

MATTHEW:

I checked the caller ID and it was my ex girlfriend Kelsey. Why was she calling me. She hasn't talked to me in months. I had to find out what she wanted. I answered the phone and walked away.

"Matt. Hey it's Kelsey. I was just thinking about you and I want us to get back together."

"No way Kelsey. First of all I'm taken. Second I hate you because your cruel, selfish, and only care about yourself. And third you only want me back because you know you can't have me." I snapped at her.

"MATT I WARNED YOU! YOU WILL REGRET EVERY THING YOU JUST SAID! YOU BETTER WATCH OUT!" She yelled.

The line went dead.

I rushed back to Alyssa. She was gone.
