School classroom, Josh and Alexis are talking, sitting in desks next to each other. Josh is playing a game on his desk as Alexis is writing in her notebook.

Alexis: moving her desk next to Josh. So Josh, what did they say?

Josh: Looking up at Alexis. They said yes.

Alexis: Excited, she starts talking faster. That's great can you come over after school?

Josh: Josh gets up from his desk and goes towards Alexis. Yeah, I'll just text my dad and tell him where i'm going.

Alexis: Looking up at Josh. Ok.

Josh: Sits back down in front of Alexis. Why are you so nice to me?

Alexis: Being genuine, talking in a soft voice. Because you are nice to me.

Ashley enters the room, walks towards Josh and Alexis who are now across from each other.

Ashley: Hi Josh, Alexis it's nice to see you.

Josh: Looks up at ashley away from Alexis. What do you want?

Ashley: I thought I would come and eat lunch with you today.

Josh: Raising voice at Ashley. Do you really want to eat lunch with me or did you just want to see Alexis, because if you wanted to eat with me you would have been eating here since I started school, but now Alexis is eating with me and all of a sudden you come down with your lunch acting like you actually want to talk with me. But I don't want to talk to you, I never even wanted to live with you, I wish you would just leave me alone, and I wish I never see you again.

Ashley: Surprised she she starts to leave. Josh I...

Josh: Still shouting. I don't want to hear it just leave.

Ashley leaves the room looking sad.

Alexis: Confused she brings Josh back to his seat. What was that about?

Josh: Calming down, he sits in his chair. I hate her sometimes.

Alexis: Starting to understand, raising her voice. Why? She's your sister.

Josh: Raising his voice he looks away. She acts like she's my mom, she bosses me around all the time, tries to be my friend even though I don't want her to be.

Alexis: Still shouting she gets out of her seat and moves towards Josh. Just because she is your sister doesn't mean she can't be your friend.

Josh: Trying to calm down, but still yelling he pulls her closer. You don't understand I don't want more friends, I have you and that's all I need.

Lights fade as everyone exits.
