Josh and Alexis are in the living room on the couch.

Taylor Enters

Josh: Thank you for letting Alexis come over today.

Taylor: Walking over to him puts his hand on Josh's shoulder. You're welcome, I'm happy you wanted to come over Alexis.

Alexis: Looking at Taylor I'm happy you let me come over, thank you.

Taylor: walking to Alexis. Thank you for showing me that my son can be happy.

Alexis: Getting up looking at Josh. I thought he was already happy.

Josh: Hesitating, getting up and looking around. I was, but you make me happier than I've ever been.

Alexis: Really, you make me happy too.

Josh: I do? I wish I could be with you forever.

Taylor: I'll leave you two alone i'll be in my room if you need me.

Taylor exits leaving Josh and Alexis alone.

Alexis: I wish I could be with you forever too.

Josh: How can we be together if I live here and you live with your parents?

Alexis: You could live with me and my dad.

Josh: But I'm not ready to leave my home.

Alexis: Oh, are you sure?

Josh: gets and walks around looking as he walks. Yes, this is my family, this is all I know, yeah I hate them sometimes, but that doesn't mean I actually want to leave.

Alexis: Disappointed walks to where he is standing. Well, I just thought you would want to be with me.

Josh: I do want to be with you, Walks away from her, just not alone in our own house, Alexis were in high-school i'm not ready for a serious relationship.

Alexis: Oh, I'm sorry, I made you uncomfortable.

Josh: I'm not uncomfortable, I'm just not understanding why you want to move so fast.

Alexis: I'm moving fast because I want to be closer to you than most people are.

Josh: This is the closest someone who's not my family has ever been to me.

Alexis: It is?

Josh: Yeah it is.

Alexis: Well, I guess I just overreacted.

Josh: I guess you did.

Alexis: I'm sorry.

Josh: It's okay.

Lights dim all exit.
