~Michelles POV
"god i love this boy" i said as i saw hayes trip over nothing as he was trying to get to me
"you ok?' i said holding in my laugh as much as i can
"psh....i ment to do that" hayes said getting up like nothing happened
"mhhm..." i said as i burst into laughter
"shut up" hayes said chuckling as he playfully punched my arm
"ready to go home?" he asked
"yup lets go" i said as hayes and i walked hand in hand
as we were walking i happened to see my ex
"Shawn??" i said
he was playing his guitar to the toddlers in the park, he was singing "The A Team" by ed sheeran, that was our song.
i smiled at how happy he looked and kept walking, a few seconds later i heard a voice call out to me
"Michelle?is that you?"
i turned around to see shawn getting up and walking over to me and hayes
"michelle! hey!" he said as he reached in for a hug
his hug felt warm. it brought back so many memories.
"shawn.hey!' i said hugging him back as he swung me arround
i turned to look at hayes, he had a blank expression on his face...he was jealous, i thought it was kinda cute cause ive never seen hayes jealous
"hayes, this is shawn." , "Shawn this is hayes." i said introducing them to eachother
they both smiled at eachother, and it was awkward for a couple seconds
"so how have you been?" i said to shawn
"great! i just let out my ep and things have been amazing for me" he said
"wow! thats great shawn, it really is, im proud of you mendes" i said as i jumped into his arms in joy
he smiled and hugged me back, "im blessed."
i smiled at him and stared into his eyes, i thought to myself "wow, shawns becoming really successful, im so proud"
~Hayes POV
no! give me attention! not him....
i thought to myself.
"well...we better get going!" i said pulling michelle's wrist
"uh,k bye!?" she said as i was pulling her away
"ya! bye, dawn!" i said
..."uh, its shawn." he said
"ya, whatever.k bye"
"bye?" he said as he walked away
~Michelles POV
gosh what was that about ?? i thought to myself
i shrugged my shouleders and continued walking
"so who was that?" hayes asked raising an eyebrow
"oh...just an old friend of mine" i said nervously
"just, a friend??" he asked
"uh..yup!" i said looking down at my feet
"k..." he said looking down at his feet also
i could tell he didn't like Shawn, the way he rolled his eyes each time we hugged and the way he'd look down at his feet each time we'd laugh at each other
"you ok Hayes?" ..."we're just friends". i said as i slowly picked his head up with his chin
"ya im fine" he said trying not to look bothered
"Uh,ok" i said as we finally arrived at my door step
"well bye Hayes" i said kissing him on the cheek
"bye babe" he said in a low voice as he walked away
i went up to my room and put on my charcoal grey sweats on and a black crop top i wear around the house, i laid in bed and put on my earphones, i went on iTunes and bought shawns EP... i couldnt help it. i think im starting to fall for shawn again.
i listened to it all night until i memorized all the songs and i drifted off to sleep.

i went inside and ran up to my room, i burried my face in my pillow and thought to myself all night.
i knew michelle was lying...it was obvious that they were more than friends...but how could she lie to me??
know i dont know if i should ask her out or not, she might still have feelings for him.
