*The Next Day*
~Michelle's POV
Today is the day Hayes moves. I'm devastated.
I'm helping him pack, and I'm not going to lie, I've been trying to hold in my tears for a while now and I feel like any second now I'm gonna blow!
"Is everything ok Michelle?" Hayes asks
"Uh, ya everything's fine." I nod, trying to hold back tears, or signs of sadness
Hayes nods and continues packing.
"So when does your plane leave?" I ask, as I put one of Hayes shirts in his suit case.
"It leaves at midnight but I have to be there before 11pm" he says
"Oh um cool..." I say looking down at the ground
*A couple hours later*
Hayes and I were finally done packing.
"Hey, you wanna go grab a bite?" Hayes asks
"Ya sure, where ?" I reply
"Um, In-N-Out?" He said
"Ya sure!" I say, reaching to grab my sweater because it was like 60 degrees outside
We ask Nash to drop us off and he agrees, we get in the car and Nash begins driving
"We're gonna miss you when we move to New York Michelle" Nash said
"I'm gonna miss you guys to!" I say
"Oh, and Expecially Hayes!" , "God, this boy doesn't stop talking about y-
"Shut the fuck up Nash!!" Hayes yells interrupting nash
I giggle and smile, " I'm going to miss both of you guys"
*In-N-Out*
Nash drops us off at the entrance.
"You sure you don't wanna come with us Nash?" I ask as I leave the car
"Nah, I have lots of packing to do!" He yells, driving away
Hayes and I wave and walk inside.
"We'll have 2 cheese burgers, no cheese!" Hayes yells
Everyone around us stares and we all start laughing.
"Correction. We'll have 2 cheese burgers , with cheese, and fries" I yell at the cash register, grabbing hayes by the wrist and taking him to a table
"your so stupid hayes" I say laughing
"Yea, but you love me" hayes says raising in eyebrow
I roll my eyes and playfully punch him on the arm."yup, I do"
"Hayes, do you think you'll ever move back?" I ask playing with my fingers
Hayes picks up my chin and looks into my eyes, "Nothing can keep us apart. Some how, we'll find a way" , "ok?" He says
"Ok Hayes." I say
A couple seconds later the waiter comes with our food and we changed the subject.
*
By the time we were finished it was 3:00
"You wanna go back home?" I ask hayes
"Ya lets go." "Want me to call nash to pick us up?" He asks
"Nah, let's just walk." I say with a smile
"Ok, but let's take the long way" hayes says reaching his hand out to me
I grab his hand, inter whining our fingers, and we start walking.
Hayes' house was about an hour walk, but we didn't mind, as long as we had each other it was all good.
Hayes and I laughed the whole way home, he kept on trying to humor me, it was cute.
It started getting dark, and my feet were starting to hurt, the clouds got dark grey and before you knew it we were drenched in rain.
"It's raining!" Hayes yells putting his sweater over his head
"No shit!" I say cuddling closer to him
Hayes gives me a smirk and I laugh.
A couple minutes later we arrived at Hayes' house, we walked in soaked with water and all eyes were on us when we entered
"Wow! What happened to you to!" Elizabeth yells (Hayes' mom, duh!)
"You know I could've picked you guys up right?" Nash says with a smirk
"Wow, did you Guys go swimming!" Skylynn shouts, pointing her small finger at us
Hayes and I looked at each other and started laughing out of nowhere.
They looked at us confused and completely fell to the ground hugging each other.
"They're crazy" skylynn points out
"Alright, alright. You two kids go change" Elizabeth says with a smile
Hayes and I nod and walk up stairs, we take turns taking showers and when we're done we go into hayes' room
Hayes hands me some basketball shorts and one of his hoodies,"here babe put this on"
I nod and put them on, I lay next to hayes who was on his bed
"You tired?" Hayes asks me
"No, I honestly can't sleep" I say laying my head on his chest.
"Me either."
