Y/n POV
After walking some distance I reached where I was supposed to. The gate of the Palace. I knew it was supposed to be big but damn this is even bigger than I imagined.

To be honest, I'm already scared and I'm getting this feeling that I wont be able to pass through. But this is a golden opportunity. I can't just let it go.

Will I be able to do this? I took a deep breathe and started walking towards the guards who were standing near the gate.

The guards were looking at me while I kept a totally blank face.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" one of the guard asked me.

I hesitated a bit. as i usually dont talk to people that much. 
"I-I umm a-am-"

'This is more harder than I thought.'

"I will not repeat myself. So hurry up young girl."

I took a deep breath and started telling them.
"S-sorry, I'm Y/n and I'm here for the job offer to be a maid." I said while holding the poster in my hand.

I saw them looking at my hand, the one in which I was holding the poster.

"So, Y/n right? You want to work as a maid in this palace."

I nodded my head.

They looked at each other and one  suddenly asked again.
"Are you sure?"

"Y-yes I do." I don't know why but I was scared and afraid. I still imagine how the king would be.

I heard many people praise him while some people saying bad things about him. So I'm confused.

I looked at them. They looked shocked.

"Okay, you can go inside but before you do please give me the poster that you are holding."

I quickly nodded and handed it to one of them.

"So please tell me one thing."

I looked at the one who said that.

"Are you human or a vampire?"

"I'm-I'm human."

"Hmm... now follow me."

I bowed down and said thank you. I then started following him.

While walking I saw many things. First came the garden. I looked around and of course it was beautiful. The thing that it was huge but yet well maintained.

But the thing that caught my eye was the blossom tree. I loved watching the blossom trees. My neighbour had a blossom tree.

Suddenly realising I'm lacking behind a little I took a last glance at the blossoms thinking that it might be the last time and started walking right behind.

This all felt so weird. It's my first time being around people. I just really hope that I dont mess up.

The guard didn't even turn around to check if I was behind or not.

He stood at one place and so did I. That's when he turned around and said.

"You have to find one maid named Lalisa. Tell her that you are new and then she will help you settle down."

"O-okay t-thank you so much." I said while bowing down.

He still gave this serious face and he was going to leave but then suddenly he turned around.

"Your welcome but be careful over here. Just think this as my advise. Then it's you wish." saying that he turned around and disappeared from my sight.

I thought about his words and came to think that might be right.

That's when I realised I had to find a maid named La....

wait.....

What the hell was her name again?!

I think it started with La...

Aish!! I'm so stupid.

I decided to first find someone because no one was here but before doing anything I thought to myself. 

'This is the start of my new life. I just hope it goes well.'
