Y/n POV "So Y/n the first question is that why did you decide to take up this job even though there are so many jobs out there?"
"The reason is that I could not pay back the rent if my house and I needed a place to um stay." I said a little knowing it's only them.
"Okay, next question. Did you live alone or with your parents or siblings or anybody ?"
"I lived alone."
"Why so?" she asked suddenly. "Oh sorry"
"No it's fine. I lived alone because my parents died when I was only 5 years old. Well I did have a sibling but he or she ran away from home. I don't know is he or she even alive! I don't even know my sibling's gender. What a shame." I whispered the last part. I don't know why but I just felt ashamed of my own past.
They both sort of looked startled.
Then Jisoo and Lisa both came to me and hugged me.
Then Jisoo said, "See Y/n it don't matter if you don't know your siblings gender it's not something wrong. Life is hard to understand. You'll soon find out. "
"Yup." Lisa then squeezed me tight while saying that "but now you have us with you. It's okay not to know. That's life you know. Your really strong to handle such struggles."
I never knew that a hug would feel so nice. It's been I while since I've been hugged or actually loved.
I felt a little loved and happy to know that now I have someone to share things.
'So this is how it feels like.'
But then again I did just meet them and it still is my first day over here so I got this feeling that I should give it some more time.
"Y/n ,we're here for you now. Let's continue? "
"Y-yes."
"Okay." She took the pen in her hand again and asked me "So your full name is Lee Y/n right?"
"I don't even know if it's my real surname." I said it like a whisper but they somehow heard it.
"You don't know your surname?"
"No, it's not like that but as I said my parents died and my sibling ran away so I was alone and didn't know what to do but I found a paper with my name written as 'Lee Y/n' "
"Okay." she said while writing it down on the form.
"Y/n?" Jisoo called my name.
"Yes?" I looked at her giving my attention.
"Thank you." She said looking up from the form.
"For what?" I asked.
"For telling us everything about your past. At first I thought you would lie but you told the truth. Thank you for believing in us."
She smiled and said "Many people run away and always think that we were there to kill them as we act too kind and all of this is planned."
"Please don't say that. I should actually thank you guys for you kindness. I love being your friends." I said with a little excitement.
"I love having a friend like you too."
"Yah! Don't forget me. I love having you guys as my friends." Lisa said.
"Um I'm sorry but I think Y/n thinks me as a better friend." Jisoo made a bold remark.
Lisa first just stared then spoke "Actually she's just being kind to you. She's more friendly towards me."
"I'm better. Right Y/n?"
"Hear me out." I added in between their little argument. That actually made them pay attention to me.
"You both are my best friends. Please don't fight."
"I only stopped due to her request or I swear I'm more of a friend to her than you Lisa."
"No, i don't believe that so I'm just letting it be for now."
I giggled a little and they joined me. I just still feel insecure about them.
"Who is she Lisa?" I heard a voice behind me say. I turned around to see two other girls giving me a warm smile and so I did the same to them.
"Actually she's new." Jisoo stated.
"Yeah about that meet Lee Y/n. This is her first day."
"Hi Y/n I'm Kim Jennie and I'm 22 years old."
"And I'm Park Chaeyoung or you can call me Rose and so I'm 21 years old."
"H-hello. It's nice to meet you." I bowed slightly.
"Please just don't be so formal if you want to be friends." Jennie told me so.
"Oh I'm sorry."
"Aish she's so innocent." Rose said and giggled then all the girls joined her.I felt really shy when they did so. It was embarrassing.
"I bet we'll all get along and stay with each other."
"I bet we will." Lisa excitedly clapped her hands.
"So Y/n remember we are your best friends."
"Yes I know."
I feel confused if I should believe them or not? They seem so happy and kind but like it's just hard to decide.
"So it's settled that from today you are our best friend."
