Jungkook was still holding his waist tightly, "Stand up, I'll fly us back to the Kingdom." He gestured for him to stand on the branch they were sitting on.The blonde boy shook his head nervously, "is there any other way," he looked at the sky and gulped, "other than flying."
A faint smile appeared on Jungkook's lips, "Seeing the way your fingers are gripping my shirt tightly, I'm assuming you are scared of heights." He gazed at Jimin that was in denial.
"Not fear," he scoffed not wanting to admit it. "It's uncomfortable, I don't like the feeling. It's just an unpleasant emotion caused by the belief that something is dangerous, likely to cause pain, or a threat." He explained as his ears turned red.
Laughter was what he heard after what he said. "Okay here's the deal, if you be my toy, I promise I won't drop you." He teased the blonde boy.
Jimin pouted trying to think of another way other than flying. "Jerk," he said under his breath but the boy with the dark hair heard and laughed.
"We can walk, but it will take a day to get back seeing how far you ran," he suggested, looking down and nodding to what he said, "also we may get attacked." He added.
Jimin didn't care, it's better than flying. It's a situation he can't be in. "Walking it is." He replied to the man.
The man with the violet eyes was going to let go but Jimin kept holding his shirt tightly, "Why," he stuttered, "Why are you leaving me."
"We need to get down, we have to fly down." He pointed towards the ground, Jimin's eyes were filled with fear.
He looked down, then back at Jungkook. He was scared he might drop him, however, he was the one that saved him from that creature. "Make it quick." He almost begged, shutting his eyes and letting go of Jungkook's shirt.
Before he can even notice, he was on the ground. He breathed out, "That was fast." He said surprised.
"Handsome and fast, I'm perfection, aren't I?" He gazed at Jimin with a cocky smile on his face. The blonde boy started walking, not acknowledging what he said. Jungkook cleared his throat, "wrong way." He shouted.
Jimin turned around and started walking the opposite way, passing Jungkook. The violet eyes of his smiled before his lips did. "Just kidding, you were right first."
Jimin stopped and sighed loudly, "stop toying with me. I'm kind of regretting my decision." He said in a serious tone. "I should have just died."
Jungkook breathed in. He knew. He knew exactly what Jimin was feeling. He was broken, his soul felt empty and he can tell that a lot of pieces of him are shattered, including his heart. "Good thing I'm here to save you." He replied.
Jimin kept his eyes in contact with Jungkook's, "Let's go already," he said as he started moving.
The two walked in silence for a bit, it wasn't awkward, it was calming silence. The blonde boy had to keep reminding himself about what Nolland said, about Jungkook, because he keeps forgetting. It wasn't easy to follow what Nolland told him, because he felt somehow safe with Jungkook.
Jimin released a groan, he still needed water and food. Of course, he caught the dark haired man's attention in just a second, concern filled his eyes, "there is a river close by," he pointed at their direction trying to show Jimin where. "We'll take a small break there, so hang on."
His human body was too weak to reply, too broken. A nod was the only thing he gave Jungkook. "No?"
Jimin frowned, he managed to get the words out from his fragile bones, "Yes." He said. He didn't understand why Jungkook couldn't understand his nod but it wasn't the time to question it when he can barely even hold himself up.
The man with the tugged in wings opened his hand, "hold." It wasn't a demand, he softly offered to help him.
Denial. He was shot down by him because he didn't even glance at his hand. Like being close to him wasn't an option. Jungkook needed to get words out of Jimin's lips, even if he has to bother him. Because if he gives up on talking, he'll eventually start giving up on walking, then surviving.
They arrived at the river and Jimin just collapsed next to it, Jungkook knelt down next to him, cleaning his hands, then holding up water with his big palms for Jimin to drink from. Jimin gazed at his hands then started drinking the water. "I'm going to get you food, so stay here." He said carefully, "if you see or sense anything then give a shout and I'll immediately be here."
Jimin finished drinking the water, he nodded in approval but Jungkook wanted words, he kept waiting. The blonde boy parted his lips and softly sighed, "yes."
Jungkook gave him a reassuring smile then left for food, leaving Jimin all alone next to the river. The light has left the kingdom for now, and the dark has consumed the forest. His soft sighs were the only sounds in the forest.
He finally felt the man come back, turning around to face him. "Nol-"
"Oh, thank god." Nolland ran up to him, hugging him. Jimin can feel him shaking out of fear, shaking as if he was going to lose him forever. A tear escaped Jimin's eye, feeling his lover around his arms, it's what he missed.
The high lord cupped his face, "I've been looking for you, Haven is getting a punishment for leaving you."
The first thing that came out of Jimin's lips was, "is he healing?" He asked in concern, remembering the screams when he was shot by the arrow.
"Yes," he then shouted across the forest, a knight other than Haven that can windsyn appeared. "Take us back." He ordered.
The knight walked to them, holding them both as they all vanished, back to the Kingdom, his home.
As they did, Jungkook was up in the sky, watching them with multiple fruits he collected from trees in his hands. The wind blew through his dark hair, violet eyes shimmered when he saw them leave and take Jimin away. His violet eyes darkened, wings spread all the way out, and fruits fallen down next to the river. "See you soon." Jungkook mumbled to himself with a smile.
