Chapter 21.

Betty's POV

After me and Jughead talked, he went to do his work and I did mine.

This day was a bit trying honestly.

The anonymous person still hasn't texted me yet, so that's a good thing.

And I don't even want to receive a text from him or her.

I snapped out of my thoughts and took the files on my desk and walked out of the office.

As I was walking I saw a few girls standing together in a circle, while whispering something to each other, as soon as they looked at me, they scattered around the place.

Okay what's going on?

As soon as I reached the door to my boss' office he opened the door with anger in his eyes.

I was scared this is the first time this has happened, I don't understand.

He dragged me into his office and made me sit down on the couch, I looked at the ground trying to meet his eyes that were full of rage and anger.

I just wanted to know the reason, Justin took of his jacket and threw it on the floor while shouting, "Why did you kiss Jughead?!" I was speechless, how did he know.

I slapped my forehead and stood up, I looked into his eyes and said, "I-I am sorry that won't happen again."

He laughed at my comment and placed both of his hands on his head while walking into circles, "We have rules in this building Elizabeth, and you broke one of them!, do you understand that I can easily fire you now!"

I forgot about the rules they placed here, by the way they were placed her about 5 days ago, I don't know why.

Dammit why did I have to kiss him here out of all places in the world!

I was about to say something and then Justin interrupted me and said, "This is your last chance Elizabeth!, if I found you doing that again, I won't give you another chance."

I took a deep breath and put on a smile, I walked towards the desk and placed some files on top, I then turned around and looked at Justin with the biggest smile I tried to put and said, "These files have your schedule for this month, if you'd like me to change anything please tell me."

He looked at me and then to his jacket that was lying on the floor, "Just go back to work."

I walked out of the office as I saw everyone standing there in shock, and among those people I saw Jughead, he looked angry and upset at the same time.

I just smiled at him and walked to my office, suddenly I hear one of the girls say, "She even has the boss wrapped around her finger, too bad good-looking men have bad taste in women." And that comment made every girl laugh, but it made my heart sting a little.

I just shook my head and walked back to my office, as soon as I got in, my phone started buzzing, I walked to my desk and saw a few texts from the anonymous person.

"Oh no!, your secret romance has been caught, but you don't have to worry since your boss is your ex-boyfriend."

"Poor poor you, getting scolded by the boss isn't very nice is it?"

"You got out of the office safe and sound, I knew that having your ex boyfriend as a boss is not so bad."

Out of anger I took my phone and threw it on the couch, I sat on my chair and placed my head on the desk.

"Why did this happen to me?" I started banging my head on the desk, this is driving me insane, this so called anonymous person is stalking me.

I placed my hands on top of my head and said, "Just a few more hours Betty and you could leave this building for gods sake."
