THE DEAL

Chapter 23.

Betty's POV

What?....

I closed my eyes and counted to three and when I opened them, that girl had her arms around Jughead's waist.

I clenched my jaw and looked anywhere but at them, but what Jughead did shocked me.

He pushed the girl away and looked straight into her eyes and said, "I told you to get out!"

He yelled at the top of his lungs and the girl backed away with a smirk, "I knew you would do this, I told you nothing would turn out the way you want Jughead."

He looked at her once again and clenched his jaw while saying, "It was all because of you!,"I felt horrible, I felt as those walls were suffocating me, I wanted it to be over."

He then put his hands on top of his head and said, "And all you did was watch me from the news and send someone to watch over me, I can't even look at you, I don't want to see you, you are fucking horrible."

I looked at the girl and all she did was laugh, she was a sociopath.

"I love getting on your nerves." I walked over to the girl and grabbed her hand and said, "Leave or I am going to drag your ass outside."

She pulled her hand away and pushed me, she quickly looked at Jughead and then back at me, "You are going to get tired of him soon enough."

I rolled my eyes and chuckled at her comment, "You're desperate."

She pushed me away and I ran to Jughead hugging him, he didn't hug me back and I pulled away, I placed my hands on his cheeks and made him look into my eyes.

"Jugh-" But before I finished my sentence his lips crashed into mine making me melt into the moment, Jughead is kissing me.

I of course kissed him back, I could slowly feel tears rolling down my cheeks, but when I opened my eyes it weren't my tears falling down.

It was Jugheads....

I smiled at him and wiped his tears and said, "Hey what's wrong?"

He just stood there and said, "Why didn't you slap me? punch me, be angry at me? when you saw me with her?"I stood silent for a few seconds and looked at the ground gathering my thoughts.

"Because-"Before I could finish the sentence he pulled me into a hug and said, "You know, don't answer that."

I hugged him back tightly praying that this wasn't a dream and it wasn't.

We just stood there in the living room just hugging each other, I could hear his heart beat against my ear.

4 DAYS LATER

It's been four days since Jughead kissed me or had any contact with me, but I don't mind, he needs his space after the woman who ruined his life came back.

But I didn't sit at home and wait for him to come back, I stayed with Veronica who didn't tell me that she broke up with her boyfriend, she cried all day just telling me how they broke up and why.

She told me that all the times they were together is because her dad arranged a marriage with him,  So they could be even more rich.

She sat on the couch and cried her eyes out, she loved her dad, but everything he did is messed up, but now Veronica is telling me to go clubbing with her. 

"Veronica come on!, you just stopped crying and you want to go clubbing?" She stood up and said, "Of course I want to go clubbing! Is that even a question?" She placed both of her hands on her hips and said, "Come on and you can forget Jughead just for one night." I quickly declined and said, "I like Jughead okay!"

"I don't mind thinking about him."She saw  how my face lit up just by talking to him and said, "Then let's invite him?" I quickly stood up and said "I can't reach him, and you surely won't."

She chuckled at my comment and said, "If I told him you're with Archie, he would come running in his pj's." I stood there looking at the ground as my cheeks flushed red.

Veronica once again chuckled and said, "Come on just this one, please come with me." She pouted like a child and started jumping up and down, begging me to go with her.

I sighed and nodded my head, I can't just leave my best friend to go to the club alone.

After a few hours of getting ready we finally left her house, I don't know if she actually called Jughead or not, but I really hope she didn't but a part of me wished that he would come.

When we arrived at the club everyone was dancing drinking, and doing other things in a club, Veronica saw a cute guy and went to him and here I was all alone in a crowded club, I really wish I stayed home now.

But then someone grabbed my wrist and spun me around when I looked who was there I saw Justin and Jughead, but the one who spun me around was Jughead.

I saw Justin smile at me and rub the back of his neck saying, "Good luck."

What confused me even more is why are they here together, since when did they become friends?

Justin quickly walked away leaving me and Jughead alone as his hand still didn't leave my wrist alone.

And what did Justin mean by good luck?

Jughead placed his hands on my cheeks and looked into my eyes, but then he said something that stopped me from thinking,

"Be my girlfriend....."

Hey......!

I know this is a short chapter but I really don't have inspiration to write, I have writers block and it's blocking my writing, I can't think of anything to write anymore....

But anyways I hope you enjoyed this chapter, this is probably the last one for a while, the next chapter will be out when I no longer have the stupid writers block.
