THE DEAL

Chapter 9.

Betty's POV

Jughead was standing in front of me, making my heart flutter.

I swallowed the lump in my throat and said, "Who said I was following you, maybe you were following me?"

He then chuckled and said, "I can see the jealously on your face Juliet, I bet you want me all to yourself."

My heart sank into my stomach and my cheeks turned into a slight shade of pink, he knows what he's doing.

It's my turn to play.

I walked to Jughead and whispered into his ear, "Maybe I want you, but maybe I just want to piss you off." My bottom lip brushed against his left ear and I suddenly felt his hand on my back.

His touch instantly sent shivers down my spine, He then brushed his fingers through my hair and said while leaning to my face, "I see what you are doing here Juliet, but let me tell you, you have to try harder."

My eyes widened at his words suddenly I got an idea, "You are right, but let me tell you one thing, you are the one who needs to try harder."

I left him at the park speechless, I was so proud of myself that I didn't notice that I was now in a place where I didn't recognize.

Suddenly a guy came up to me and said, "What's a pretty girl yourself doing here?", My body started to get cold.

Every time I felt in danger, my body suddenly goes cold, "I got lost-" he cut me off and said, "Lost where in my eyes?"

What the hell?

This creep is really strange.

I awkwardly laughed and said, "I am sorry I have to go."

I turned around to feel his hand pulling me next to him, "Did I allow you to leave sweetie?"

I panicked and the only thing that got into my mind was this, I kicked him where the sun didn't shine.

He fell to the floor and I stated running for my life, never in a million years I would have imagined me being in this situation.

Suddenly I felt him jump on me and sucked into my neck, I tried my best to run, to do something but I couldn't move.

"Please leave me alone!" I said as tears started to fall, "Don't worry, everything is going to be fine." He started to suck into my neck leaving more marks.

Suddenly I got the chance to run away, I pushed him away and kicked him in the face.

I ran and ran and ran, faster and faster until I got to a familiar place.

I got into my car and stared into myself in the mirror, my heart was bounding so fast that the only thing that I was hearing was my heart.

Suddenly a tap on the window made me jump, I slowly turned around to see Jughead smiling at me.

I rolled my eyes but at the same time he made me smile, I rolled down the window wand he quickly said, "Why were you running like crazy?"

I took a deep breath and said, "I was doing my exercise."

I clearly lied and Jughead could see that I was frightened, he suddenly got into a the car through the window.

I was shocked and I immediately rolled my eyes and said, "Jughead please leave."

He then placed his hand on my cheek and made me look at him, he was concerned, "What's wrong?" He asked and I just pushed him away and said.

"Nothing, nothing's wrong, everything is fine." He then placed his finger on my lips and softly said, "tell me the truth Juliet."

Slowly a tear fell landing on Jughead's hand, he quickly looked at me and said, "Please Betty, tell me what happened."

"I don't want to, please, just let me go home." More tears started to fall, and as more fell, the more Jughead got worried.

He landed a soft kiss on my forehead and said, "I'll always be here, next to you, I'll always listen for what you have to say."

I gave him a soft smile and placed my hand on his, "Thank you."

Suddenly his eyes landed to my neck, he noticed the marks on my neck but I quickly placed my hand on the mark.

He pushed my hand away and said angrily, "Betty what's that?, who did that to you?" I shook my head and covered it even more.

"It's nothing, It's nothing." He rolled his eyes and said, "Betty tell me who did that!, I would happily kill them, how could you just sit here and say that's nothing, that's a god damn hickey, and you obviously look uncomfortable." I couldn't handle it anymore and I raised my voice, "Listen Jughead, I don't want to talk about it, and since when did you start to care about me?"

Jughead sat there and scoffed, "Since when did I start caring?, the problem is, I can't stop caring, I can't just sit here and see you uncomfortable, the moment I saw you, I started caring even more than before!"

I was shocked at Jughead's words, he really does care....

Suddenly I felt both of his hands on my cheeks, he then softly smiled and said, "I can't stop caring about you, and I don't think I'll ever stop."

He looked at me and then his soft lips connected with mine, I felt safe, his touch really made me calm down from what happened.

He kissed me gently, and made my heart flutter, suddenly a tear landed on my cheek, making me remember the memories with Justin, this is my first kiss after the break up.

And it was with Jughead.

And I couldn't be more glad.
