Y/n knew it was coming. It was about that time anyways. Right on the dot, Lauren would call or text her and tell her they should take a break, that they needed time apart because they're both too stressed or something kinda unimportant. But Y/n was over it. The side chick or the new girl Lauren had, was gorgeous and Y/n had no idea why the girl even stood by Lauren's side, when she treated her like she did Y/n. Or, maybe it was a semi doomed relationship. After all, Y/n was a singer, as was Lauren and that girl.
The truth was, Y/n was a little bit hurt. She really did love Lauren. But that love just ran out and now, Y/n was just tired of pretending. She hoped this was the final goodbye, but she knew it wasn't. Two weeks tops would go by and Lauren would call her again, asking and sometimes begging for her to come back amd like the kinda and sweet person everyone knew Y/n was, she would.
After getting off the phone with her, Y/n yawned and laid down on her couch, scrolling through her Netflix account, trying to see what was on. She wanted to watch the Runaways, but no, stupid Hulu. So, she settled with Pretty Little Liars from the beginning.
Only half way through the first episode, her phone pinged, which cut her attention short. She reached forward and check the notification, surprised when JoJo was following her and tweeted at her.

Y/n couldn't help the smile that appeared on her face. Her thumb immediately hitting the follow button and types a message for her in her DM's.

Their talk, suprisingly goes on for hours and way into the night. By the time they say goodnight and exchange numbers, Y/n's surprised to see it dark and the message on the tv, asking if she's still watching that show.
After dinner, she couldn't help but smile as she got in bed, laughing when she saw people were freaking out her and JoJo. Hell, she was still freaking out herself, but she was excited to see what the future held for her, especially after a long and semi hurtful day.

Y/n didn't think she would get a girlfriend out of talking to JoJo, but that's where she found herself two months later, and Y/n couldn't be happier. Of course, no one knew except the closest of people. And yea, Jo knew about Lauren, sadly. Like, she wasn't gonna not tell her, at least not yet, but Y/n didn't want secrets between them so they got everything out in the open.
And things were great. Until Lauren called.
"Lo?" JoJo sat up from her end of the couch, and watched curiously.
"Hey love... um, I'm sorry. I'm so fucken sorry Y/n. It's just been stressful and-" Y/n tuned her out and rolled her eyes, moving to where Jo was laying and sat between her girlfriend's arm's. Jo placed a soft kiss on Y/n temple as Y/n leaned back into her, the older woman's arm's wrapping around Y/n's waist. "... please take me back?" She pleaded, hoping and praying Y/n would. But Y/n sighed and shook her head.
"Lauren, what are we doing? What are you doing? Every month, almost like clockwork, you break-up with me, then at least a few weeks later, maybe a month, we always get back together, and I'm tired. Not only are you hurting me, but you're hurting yourself and that girl that really likes you."
"Wha- there's no other girl!"
"Lo..."
"No Y/n! Please. This was the last time! I promise!"
"Lo... no, I'm sorry..." Y/n hangs up the phone and sighs, closing her eyes, wishing it wasn't so hard. Jo doesn't say anything, just places kisses along her cheek and temple, and comforts her a bit.
Of course, Y/n knew Lauren and Lauren wasn't gonna give up that easy.
She didn't hear anything from Lauren in about a week, which actually surprised Y/n a lot, because, well, Lauren is Lauren, something was/is bound to happen.
Then, the phone calls and texts came. Lauren asking Y/n out on a dates, or asking if she wanted to come over and spend time together, but Y/n would always gently let her down.
JoJo wasn't happy about Lauren bugging her girlfriend. A few times she had to stop herself from yelling at Y/n, when it wasn't even her fault. JoJo herself wanted to tell people, but she was scared, she honestly never saw herself with a girl, but she was already in love with Y/n and wasn't gonna risk not being out and then breaking up or something.
The next time Lauren called, JoJo was ready, telling her that she needed to stop calling because Y/n and her were already together and JoJo nearly broke down in tears for some reason. And what surprised JoJo, was that Lauren conceded. Telling her that she was scared herself, and didn't know what to do cause Y/n was always safe.
Somehow, Lauren and JoJo became friends, which worried Y/n a bit, but she was still happy that Lauren stopped the calls and kinda harassment in a way.
In the end, when JoJo and Y/n came out, a lot of people were shocked, but loved it, shipping them almost immediately. And JoJo loved every second of it. But she was just happy her and Y/n came out together. And now could hopefully move on with their life, with a few new friends.
