Y/n was excited. Finally after two years of not releasing any music due to her being sick, her doctor signed off and told her she was clear to sing again. But she was scared. Due to her fucken tonsils, her voice had taken on a raspier edge, and she was scared she wouldn't be able to hit her high notes anymore.
But after a lot of practice and rest, she was able to perform again and she was excited. She missed performing for her fans. It was her life! And not being able to live out her dream, sucked.
But here she was, two years after getting sick, smiling and holding her lovely girlfriends hands. She was so happy that they stuck by her side, even with all her grumpiness and moodiness. They deserved the world and she was gonna do anything to make sure they got it. And the song that she was performing tonight, well, it was for them.
The only thing sucked about the awards tonight, was not being able to sit next to her girls. Ariana was sitting next to Nicki, Camila brought her mom and Y/n brought her sister.
Before the show started, she talked with a few people, introducing her younger sister to some of her friends, and smirked when her sister tried hard not to fangirl over them.
She walked over to Ariana, placing a soft kiss on her lips, before hugging Nicki and talking with her. But wasn't able to talk long when Ari kissed her lips again and told her Camila wanted her.
Sinu saw her first, walking over to hug her and kiss her cheeks. "Hola Y/n." The singer chuckled and said it back, asking her how she was and if Camila was being good for her.
"Hey! I'm always good." The Cuban singer pouts and crosses her arms. Her mom chuckling and kissing her forehead as Y/n wrapped her arms around her girlfriend's waist and peppered her face with kisses.
She talks with them a bit more, before she goes to sit down with her sister.
When the show starts and the camera comes around to her, she smiles and sends the viewers a wink, knowing it drives some of them crazy.
She screams when Nicki wins her award and tells Tiffany not to come for Fifth Harmony. Cause no matter what, those ladies are her friends.
It wasn't long until someone came to get her so she could change. But before she did, she asked Sinu to sit by her sister, and grabbed Ariana to sit by Camila, giving them kisses on their cheeks before sending them winks, and swaying towards the back.
She quickly changed out of her navy dress, and into a pink velvet bra, and matching velvet skirt and slide on the heels. Her hair was curled and her make-up was touched up before she had the mic pack put on. She quickly warmed up her voice and stretched with some of the dancers, before they huddled together and said a small prayer.
"After two years of not performing, and nearly having to end her career, please help me welcome back, my sister from another mister, Y/n Y/l/n!" Shay called out as the lights came on and the music started, Y/n and a dancer walking down the catwalk, both dancing along.

She presses up close to him, his hands on her hips, moving them from side to side as she sings loudly. She pulls away and walks down the stairs, winking at her sister and dancing up to her girlfriends, who stand their flabbergasted.

She winks at her girls, as another dancer comes up behind her and touches her body. Both of them moving in sync as she sings her song, putting her hand on the guys chest and walking him back.

They all break into a dance, Y/n walking back over to her girls and pulling them to her, spinning them around before kissing their cheeks quickly.

Y/n smirks as a new guy walks up and pulls her close, dipping her as he makes it look like they kiss. Her heart hammering in her chest and almost laughing as he makes a funny face.

She takes two tickets and skips down to where her girlfriends are and hands them over, sending them winks as they just stand there. The music slows down, as they as start snapping, some clapping as Y/n runs her hand over her body.

The crowd rises to their feet, cheering and whistling for the singer who was think she woild be able to sing again. She gets pulled into a hig by her ladies but it's only for a few seconds before having to change again.
Luckily, changing back didn't take long, and she was back out there before the commercials were over.
"So, we get a private show tonight?" Ariana asks innocently, as she wraps one arm around Y/n's waist and another around Camila's. With a smirk, she kisses their forehead before pulling back ajd winking.
"Only if you're good." She walks back to her sister, Sinu giving her a hug before walking back to her seat. Y/n's sister gives her a smirk before they high five each other. Oh, she was so ready for tonight.
