It has been a very long day for Kat, and all she wanted to do, was go to a bar and drink. And since tomorrow was Saturday, she could get hammered, pick up a beautiful woman, and enjoy the night, unwinding and distressing.
And honestly, it wasn't just the day that's been shitty, it's been the whole month. At first, the month was going well. It was her and her girlfriend at the time fifth month anniversary and she couldn't have been happier. But then when she got home, she saw two pairs of heels by the door, and then another one on the kitchen counter. Yea, that's when he mood went downhill.
In hindsight, her now ex-girlfriend has beem cheating on her with not one, but two girls. Which was fucken impressive, which Y/n never wanted to admit. And then small stupid things throughout the month got her pissed her made her cry. Hell, she doesn't know if she'll have a job come Monday cause she cussed out her boss and stormed out. Yea, she may have been in tears, but she was stupid and stressed and she may have to spend her weekend looking for a new job.
So in all, her month, had been horrible.
Walking into her apartment building, she closed her eyes and sighed, relishing the warm lobby. She opens her eyes when she heard the elevator ding, and quickly ran towards it, sliding in just as it was closing.
She pressed her floor number, but it only went to the fourth floor, before stopping and the doors opening. "Oh! Y/n, how are you?" With a smile, the girl steps into the elevator and pressed her floors button.
"I'm good! Just saw my sister and my adorable little niece and now I'm going home to enjoy a glass of wine and read my book that came the othger day. How about you?" With a frown, Kat sighs and shakes her head, before letting out a sad chuckle.
"Horrible day, month really and I think I may be fired come Monday? Not sure about that yet."
"How come you didn't tell me?" Y/n gently pulls Kat out by her wrist as the elevator stops at Y/n's floor. Kat lets her, putting up no resistance as she trails behind and gives her an embarrassed smile.
"I don't like bothering you, you know that."
"Well, consider this as- as a early birthday present for me?" Y/n blushes as Kat crosses her arms and raises her perfect eyebrow at her.
"Your birthday isn't until November. It's barely February. Try again?"
"Fiiiiiiine. I just want to talk to you. You're my friend right? I miss you." She send Y/n a pout, which melts Y/n's heart a bit.
"I missed you too." Y/n opens her door and smiles, leaning again door frame with a smile.
"Want to come in for a glass of wine and relax? We could play a game or two, or just watch movies?" Kat bites her lip, thinking about it for a second before nodding.
"I would like that, but, I'll buy dinner."
"It's a date." Kat's eyes widen, while Y/n just smirks and pulls her inside and closes her door.
