Falling for his victim

chapter 1: The Start of it all

Marcus sat in his flat and sighed, "Bills,Bills and more bloody Bills. How on Earth am I going to even pay for this?"

This situation of his was certainly desperate and it was increasingly becoming more stressful and more desperate by the hour and what made matters worse was that his landlord wanted him out by the end of the day.

He sat there thinking, "I need cash now but how and where can I go to get it?"

A loan was out of the option, He had exhausted all those avenues with friends and charities etc but a loan from elsewhere would take too long. He needed cash and he needed it now.

Then all of a sudden it came to him. He was the last person that ever wanted to commit a crime but he hoped to steal enough for his landlord to let him stay here.

But there's just two problems, Where would he go to lie low while all hell breaks loose and what if he gets caught?"

He decided that he couldn't think about that. Getting caught was not an option.

He thought about where he could go and realised that there was in fact an abandoned tree house off the beaten track in the Woods and he could go there for awhile.

He knew that the tree house wasn't exactly a permanent option after all it doesn't have the one thing that we all take for granted. Central heating and gas.

He didn't even want to think how he would even eat. It's not as if he can take a picnic to the treehouse after committing a crime of this magnitude.

This type of thing was against the fibre of his being and his very morals. But he would have to live with it.

It was doing this or being homeless for the rest of his life. He decided he would figure out the rest of his problems later.

This was a job that sadly had to be done.
