The next day Chloe was still shaken at what had happened the day before but she was proud of herself for sticking to what she believed in.
Of course most people would just have let the bag go. The contents in there could be replaced. All she had was her purse and bus pass inside the bag itself but it was the moral reasons and the sentimentality of why she so desperately wanted to keep the bag.
The police were due at the door any minute. Even though she told her mother she just wanted to forget about it and move on but her mother still insisted on calling them.
Chloe opened the door to the police and let them in. "Are you Miss Chloe Meldona?.
Chloe nodded. "Listen I would much rather forget about it and move on, I'm sorry to be wasting your time."
The Policeman smiles at her gently. "Miss Meldona, You aren't wasting our time at all, What happened is a very serious crime and if you work with us we can assure that this doesn't happen to anyone else."
Chloe knew that she should help the police and decided to help them. She told him in detail everything that happened and gave him a description of the guy. "He's blonde with Green eyes and a few inches taller than me about 5 foot 7 and wearing a black hoodie with black trackies with white lines on them and wearing White trainers."
The police officer nodded and places his hand on her shoulder. "You did the right thing you know."

For Marcus things were slowly going from bad to worse. He was sitting alone in his chosen hiding place. The place he chose was an abandoned tree house in the woods.
He sat there cursing himself. "What an idiot.." Marcus questioned whether it had all been worth it after all.
He was a 100 percent sure that the police would be on his tail right now. The question was, Should he hand himself in or try his best to stay low and evade the law as best he could?
Marcus decided that his best bet was to stay low but he knew he couldn't stay here. Not for long anyway because he was practically a sitting duck and if he did stay here then the police most definitely would find him.
He flips out his phone looking through his contacts for a solution. But it wasn't a solution that he needed but a bloody miracle.
