Marcus left the flat fairly quickly after making his decision and made his way into town.

He leant against the nearest wall in his hoodie with his hands in his pockets looking at ordinary people going about their business.

Marcus wasn't exactly people watching or trying to figure out the meaning of life. He was actually looking for his first victim.

Marcus desperately hoped that whoever he chose would be a pushover and see sense to just simply let him get away rather than them getting hurt themselves.

He knew of course this wasn't very likely and he should be prepared that this wasn't going to go down the way he had originally hoped.

Then he spots his would-be target. A brunette petite girl that comes out of the local library wearing a jumper and trousers with a blue shoulder bag.

The girl's name was Chloe Meldona who was 25 herself but the difference being she was vulnerable. Her mother didn't often let her out of the house because she was easily led and she had been the target of bullying before in her past.

Her mother had always taught her to be weary of others. The whole idea was to think everyone was a bad person. Her views were that you shouldn't trust anyone and the only people you can trust are yourself and you're family.

Chloe sadly wasn't strong enough to even defend herself and even if she was she wouldn't even know where to start.

Marcus picks up the pace behind her whilst Chloe continues on taking her time unknown that a possible assailant was behind her.

Marcus takes a deep breath and grabs the bag in an attempt to make a run for it.

Chloe looks from him to the bag and grips it tightly. "What the hell do you think your doing?!"

He yells at her. "Just let it go and I won't hurt you... Please."

Chloe blinks she wasn't expecting him to actually ask nicely but she wasn't prepared to let go of this beautiful bag that her boyfriend had brought her as a Christmas present.

He was blonde and slightly taller than her and most definitely stronger than her. This was a guy who must regularly train at the gym and takes immense pride in his appearance. He had the most amazing green eyes that you could get lost in. Rather like you saw his soul through them.

But if he was doing this, He was doing it for the wrong reasons not for the right ones. Chloe knew exactly what she had to do.

Without any hesitation she held the bag in her right hand and instantly hit him with her left hand in the mouth.

Marcus stumbles and lets go of the bag and spits out on the street. He was expecting blood to have come out of his mouth but all that came out was one little tooth that clattered down on the street a few feet away from him.

Marcus looked shocked at her and then turned quickly the other way running and never looking back.

Chloe was evidently shaken but kept a calm and level head. She reached into her pocket for a tissue and picked up Marcus's tooth and wrapped it inside the tissue and then placing it inside her pocket.
