Brendon Urie got his first top 100 under his own name

Brendon Urie has achieved numerous top 100's during his career but all of them have been under the name of his band Panic! At The Disco. Roses, a song which he collaborated on with Benny Blanco and Juice WRLD made it's chart debut at 95th.

This is not the beginning of Urie's solo career though and he isn't planning to drop the Panic! name. In an interview with Rock Sound Brendon shared why he keeps the Panic! name despite being the only one in the band left and having the potential to be a hit solo artist. Here is what Brendon said:

 “You know, I never really think about changing the name or give too much thought into doing something else. From the first [line-up] split I never wanted to leave the Panic! name but other guys did, and it was all good, but I never really wanted to question it too much. Nowadays I suppose I’m just synonymous with Panic! At The Disco - it’s become a bit of a meme I guess. For me what the Panic! name represents is a sort of no rules, cart blanche mentality, and I’ve never felt the need to be released from that.”
