Panic! has a lot going on

So Panic! has a lot of things going on, and here are some of them:

ROCKSOUND ARTIST OF THE YEAR

It's kind of hard to imagine anyone but Panic! taking home the Rocksound Artist of the year award. Brendon expressed his joy for the award and said that he would put it in his bar instead of the bathroom (a reference to his EMA's win). Other bands to bring home awards were Twenty Øne Piløts, Palaye Royale, I Don't Know How But They Found Me  and many more. Here is the video if you want to check it out:

ANIC! HAS BEEN RECRUITING FEMALE PHOTOGRAPHERS TO FILM THEIR SHOWS

The story starts when a women by the name of Stephanie Estrada was backstage at Panic’s show in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Panic!'s road manager Zack Cloud Hall spotted her camera. Since the band didn’t have road photographer Jake Chamseddine with them for their two Florida dates, he decided to ask her to shoot the show!

This is what Zack posted on his instagram

 "Tonight about 40min before Panic went on stage I saw this girl sitting backstage with a few of her friends and saw she had a good camera. I walked up and asked her a few questions and on the spot asked her to shoot for us tonight since we didn’t have Jake for these two shows in Florida. She said yes and I think she did a great job. Go follow her and check out some of her stuff. Support female photographers. I see them in barricades working their asses off and getting less chances than guys with half their talent."

He also managed to find another young female photographer in Tampa and gave her an opportunity to film the show. Check out Zack's Instagram for more information on these talented photographers.

Metal! At The Disco? Panic! At The Metal Show?

Panic! is none for mixing up their sound...how much further will they go?
Well a lot further in fact, because he's already started work towards a metal iteration of Panic! At The Disco. And he's considering to put it on Soundcloud.

While talking to Rocksound, Brendon revealed this “I always feel as though I need to be more diverse. Yes, all of the Panic! albums do sound different and have their own vibe, their own aesthetic and imagery, but I still feel like I can do more. Even from song to song within one album I feel like things could change even more drastically, and maybe that’ll happen as time goes on. I still have so many different things that I want to do, particularly in terms of genres." 

He continued by saying "I want to do a metal project in particular. I actually just played something for my band mates recently - we have an old song called ‘The Calendar’ and I made a metal version of it from years back. It’s like 90 seconds long and is really fun. Who knows, I might even put that out on SoundCloud on a whim some time soon!”

High Hopes is a gift that keeps on giving

Panic! At The Disco’s “High Hopes” is extremely close to becoming a three-format radio #1.

High Hopes is already topping the charts at alternative and hot adult contemporary radio, “High Hopes” doesn't seem to be stopping. It is leading the race for #1 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio chart.

The week is still extremely young it's too early to guarantee that “High Hopes” will retain #1. It's still looking good though, since it's ahead of Marshmallows and Bastille's "Happier" and Ariana Grande's "Breathin".

If this continues “High Hopes” would become the first pop radio #1 for Panic! At The Disco. Panic! previously peaked at #2 with their legendary single “I Write Sins Not Tragedies.”

As you see, a lot has been happier. We couldn't be more proud though.
