Freakish (Lauren/you)

Chapter 5

"Ok guys. Check if you have any signals on your phone" Tyler instructed as the students entered the main hallway. Everyone took out their phones. "Great my battery is dead!" Dinah shouted "well it wouldn't be dead if you hadn't wasted it taking selfies, during detention" Camila added which earned her a playful death glare from Dinah.

"I have no signals" Ally said "I do" Shawn shouted in joy. No one had any signals on their phone except for Shawn. "Ok Shawn, try to get a hold of someone...anyone" Tyler appointed "and while you do that Aidan can you go to the wood work room and try to make a digital radio to contact someone, I know you're good at technology...stuff" Aidan was a very smart boy, he may be 16 years old but he was probably he most intelligent student in the whole school, he was a child genius.

Shawn tried to phone the emergency department, along with Tyler and Aidan, while Normani and Ally went to the toilet, Dinah and Camila went to the basketball court and Alessia, Lauren and Y/n went to the music room.

Alessia picked up the violin and started to play. But it didn't sound very pleasing. Lauren looked shocked "wow normally Alessia plays really well...what's up? Is she alright?" Lauren mumbled to Y/n "huh yeah umm...she's ok. I think she is just worried" Y/n replied. "Ugh this stupid violin. Something's wrong with it" Alessia threw the violin on the floor and the violin cracked in two pieces. "Alessia!" Y/n shouted, not knowing where her sisters sudden burst of anger had come from.

"Alessia are you ok? You seem so different...you would never do that" Lauren questioned. Alessia jumped of her seat and pounced to Lauren "Alessia, what are you doing? Get off, you're hurting me!" Lauren groaned trying to push Alessia off of her. Y/n grabbed Alessia by the arm, yanked her off of Lauren, and then she put her on the bench. "What the hell are you doing!?" Y/n shouted getting angry at her Alessia "Lauren are you ok?" Y/n asked Lauren inspecting her for any slight injury "yeah I'm fine, but is Alessia fine?" Lauren replied, shocked by Alessia's outburst.

Y/n held on to both of Alessia's arms and shook her "Lessi what's wrong with you?" Y/n asked, getting worried of her sisters very unusual behaviour. Alessia just collapsed onto the floor and fell unconscious.

"Lessi...Alessia, Alessia wake up!" Y/n shouted shaking Alessia "come on we have to get her to the first aid room, now!" Lauren exclaimed. Y/n picked Alessia up, bridal style and took her to the first aid room with Lauren following behind "Y/n what's wrong with her? What are you not telling me?" Lauren asked Y/n as she put Alessia down on the bed in the first aid room.

"Alright here's the truth...remember when we were running from the 'zombies' in the basement?" Y/n asked Lauren; "yeah" Lauren confirmed "well when one of the zombies grabbed Alessia...it scratched her...really bad and now Alessia  is acting weird. I'm worried, what if she's...changing? What if she's infected?" Y/n explained while lifting up Alessia's trousers and showing Lauren the scratch. Then she took off Alessia's glasses and held he eyes open "look her eyes have tuned green". Lauren was shocked "what do we do now?" Lauren asked. Y/n laced around the room trying to think "just wait here for a second, please, stay with her" y/n asked Lauren before exiting the nurses room.

Y/n sat on the floor outside the nurses room and scratched the back of her neck; something she did when she was nervous. She instantly started to sweat and panic "Y/n quick come here! What's happening to Alessia?" Lauren called y/n. Y/n ran in to the room and saw Alessia, her face was horribly pale and there seas veins bulging out of her neck and showing through her pale face, it was like she had no blood in her face. "Shit! I think she's changing! We need to do something" y/n panicked.

Lauren grabbed Onto y/n "listen Y/n...all I know is that she is changing, like Joey and Lydia, and talking from experience zombies eat humans. So we have to tie her up" Lauren said as she placed both her hand on y/n's cheeks "If we don't she'll end up eating us, just like the other's ate Mr Chad "yeah you're right" Y/n said coming back to her senses.

"Y/n you have to kill me!" Alessia shouted before she started to uncontrollably shake. Y/n tried to hold Alessia down until she finally stopped shaking and laid there unconscious. Y/n then grabbed a rope that was in one of the cabinets and tied her sister to the bed with some help from Lauren. Once they were done they both sat down on the floor.

"Y/n why didn't you tell me?" Lauren asked Y/n "I was scared" Y/n whispered "scared of what? Y/n if you told me, or anyone, we maybe could have, maybe, helped Alessia" Lauren replied, looking deep into y/n's eyes. Y/n felt guilty. She put her head between her knees and started to cry. "Listen it's ok everything will be alright" Lauren reassured Y/n while pulling her close and rubbing her back.

After a couple minutes of reassuring words from Lauren, Alessia woke up. She had transformed into a zombie. Alessia struggles on the bed growling at Lauren and y/n. Y/n and Lauren quickly stood up. Alessia tried to escape from the bed but she couldn't. Lauren grabbed Y/n's arm and pulled at her "come on Y/n, it's not safe we need to go"

Y/n and Lauren both searched through the floor and one by one they collected all the students. They all made their way to the teachers lounge and took a seat on the sofa's. Y/n and Lauren then told them everything that had happened.

"Ok well...what's the plan?" Tyler asked "I think we should get rid of her now! Before she kills any of us" Dinah said "NO! That's my sister. She isn't an animal!" Y/n boomed "she might not be an animal but she is a zombie" Dinah added "ok listen! the situation is getting worse by the minute. I think we should all stick together, stop fighting, and find a way to reach someone outside...Aidan did you reach anyone with your radio?" Normani tried to change the subject. "No...well yes kind of. I reached someone but they couldn't hear me so I am trying to contact them again" Aidan said. After a few minutes of silence Aidan got up and left the room, deciding to continue working on the radio.

"I'm going to check on Alessia...Lauren do you mind coming with me?" Y/n asked "sure" Lauren replied, feeling sympathetic towards y/n "Normani and I are going to get some...spare clothes" Dinah said dragging Normani of the room.

Lauren and Y/n went to check on Alessia. As they got to the first aid room Lauren peeked through the glass and to her surprise she saw that Alessia was not there "where did Alessia go!?" Lauren panicked "OH SHIT! She escaped!" Y/n shouted "we need to warn the others" Lauren said.
