Freakish (Lauren/you)

Chapter 3

A/n: sorry his took forever.

"Sir...I...I don't know what happened to them, they both just came in and collapsed!" Shawn stuttered "ok leave these two here with me and all of you go upstairs and eat some food. Come straight back here when you are done" Mr Chad said while inspecting the two unconscious student laying on the bed.

All the students went to canteen and started to eat. One of the boys named Aidan spoke up and broke the silence "what happened to Joey and Lydia?" "I don't know. We just opened the door because we saw Joey outside. Then Joey came in and collapsed right after he said..." Shawn explained as he got interrupted by Y/n "he said...umm...stay inside yeah that's what he said, right before he collapsed" "oh yeah he told us to stay inside" Shawn continued, looking confused. "Then Lydia came crawling behind him, she also fell unconscious. Then we brought them to Mr Chad" Shawn continued telling Aidan.

There sat 12 students, Ally, Camila, Dinah, Normani, Lauren, y/n, Alessia, Kelsey, Shawn, Dylan, Tyler and Aidan. The 12 students that were clever enough to think that staying inside was the right thing to do.

The whole room was empty and there wasn't a single noise, then a short 17 year old boy with brown hair named Dylan, decided to break the silence by whispering "I'm done. I'm gonna go back to the basement." "Yeah I'm gonna go with Dylan" Kelsey added "Ok you go we'll be down there once we've finished our food" Shawn replied.

There was now 10 students; Lauren, Y/n, Dinah, Ally, Normani, Shawn, Camila, Tyler, Alessia and Aidan; they were all sitting and talking while they were eating their beans. After a very long conversation about the chemical leak, the two sisters, Alessia and Y/n decided to go down to the basement "Alessia and I are going down to the basement" Y/n said. "I'll come with you, I'm done" Lauren said.

Alessia, Lauren and Y/n made their way to the basement. As they got closer to the panic room door they heard weird noses. Y/n slowly open the door, when she saw Mr Chad laying on the floor, blood and guts everywhere, and weird looking freaks eating him! Those weird looking freaks were the students who were in the basement, Joey, Lydia, Dylan and Kelsey. But...they weren't normal humans! They looked like ZOMBIES! They were zombies.

"RUUUNN" Y/n shouted. Lauren and Y/n started running but a zombie caught onto Alessia's leg. "Y/N HELP!" Alessia screamed, Y/n grabbed a pipe that was hanging on a shelf and wacked the zombie. Lauren slammed the door of the panic room shut and Y/n shoved the pipe between the two handles and they all ran back to the canteen.

"What happened...we heard you guys scream!" Ally shouted. "ZOMBIES! there are zombies in the basement...and they're eating Mr Chad" Alessia cried while she was running out of breath. 

"What? I don't understand" Shawn said "I'll explain" Lauren said as she sat down trying to catch her breath. "We went down, and we saw Kelsey, Dylan, Joey and Lydia, but they weren't humans they...they were, freaks!" Lauren explained.

Y/n noticed there was something wrong with her sister "Lessi are you ok?" Y/n asked her sister. Alessia stood up and ran off towards the hallway so Y/n went running after her.  Alessia ran in to the music room and started to cry. "Y/nn...I'm scared" Alessia whispered while a tear ran down her cheek. "You're ok. Don't think about it!" Y/n comforted her younger sister.  "I will be back I'm just going to the toilet" Alessia sniffled "do you want me to stay here and wait for you?, or should I come with you?" Y/n asked, concerned for her sister "just stay here I'll be back" Alessia replied.          
                                                                                               
Alessia went to the toilet and took off her glasses then she washed her face. She looked in to the mirror and saw that her eyes were green, somehow when she put her glasses back on, her green eyes wouldn't show, they would show as her normal brown eyes. Alessia started to panic, she was about to go and tell Y/n but she felt a sharp sting in her leg. She slowly rolled up her trousers and saw the she had a deep scratch mark on her leg and it was bleeding. Alessia got very scared when she saw the scratch mark; she quickly washed the blood ooff her leg, put her trousers back down and ran to Y/n.

"Y/n I'm scared" Alessia whispered, clinging onto her older sister "there's nothing to be scared about, Lessi, I'm with you. Don't worry I will protect you." Y/n said while putting her arm around her sister "Y/n you can't protect me from this...no one can" Alessia said while she started to cry "hey, hey don't cry. What do you mean I can't protect you?" Y/n asked. Alessia took off her glasses and showed Y/n her eyes. Y/n looked very confused. "Lessi, why are you wearing contacts, and glasses? You do know that won't improve your eyesight it'll just make it worse" Y/n chuckled. "Y/n these aren't contacts...they are my actual eyes and look" Alessia mumbled, scared of her sisters reaction.

Alessia rolled up her trousers and showed Y/n her leg. Y/n got very worried "Alessia are you ok what the hell happened...how did that happen?. Let me get the first aid box" y/n panicked while running to the ganitor's room to get the first aid box.

Y/n came back and covered up the deep scratch on Alessia's leg with a bandage. "How did that happen?" Y/n asked Alessia "remember when we went to the basement and that zombie grabbed my leg. Well the zombie scratched me!" Y/n was very worried.    "Y/nn do you think that I am going to turn in to a freak now?!" Alessia asked Y/n "NO! don't say that. That won't happen." "Do you think we should tell the others about this?" Alessia asked "NO! Its ok they don't need to know about this" Y/n quickly replied "come on, I think we should get back to the canteen now the others might be suspicious" Y/n suggested.

As Y/n and Alessia entered the canteen the whole room filled with silence. Alessia and Y/n went to sit on the table with the others. It was so quiet until Lauren spoke up "Alessia are you alright? You just ran out! Is there a problem?" Lauren asked, being concerned "NO! For god's sake I'm fine!" Alessia shouted while rolling her eyes. Y/n nudged Alessia and gave her a side eye "control yourself. Lauren is older than you" Y/n scolded. "I'm not a baby, ok! You don't need to tell me off." Alessia lashed out on Y/n "I know you're not a baby but Lauren is older than you, have some respect. She was just asking you if you were ok...because she cares about you!" Y/n said getting angry "it's alright Y/n...don't shout at her, I get it she needs some space, it's ok" Lauren said quietly as she placed her arm on y/n's. The simple action sent sparks shooting up y/n's arm.

All of a sudden Alessia felt bad "I'm sorry Lauren I didn't mean it, I couldn't control myself. I'm just...ugh it's hard to explain" Y/n nudged Alessia again signalling to her not to say anything about the scratch. "I get it Alessia there's a lot going on and you're probably worried for your parents." Lauren said calmly.
