I sat down on Sami's couch, fully confident she didn't have the strength to challenge me "so, Sami" I smiled, looking at her "do you like deals? I have an offer for you. You agree to join my little gang, and in return, I'll make sure you're always be above the law. You'll be able to do whatever you want. What do you say?"
Sami blinked for a moment, staring at me. She stayed quiet, eventually murmuring "and what if I say no..?"
I smiled warmly "oh, you won't" I said simply.
She opened her mouth slightly before sighing "then I guess I don't have a choice" she said quietly, looking away "just.. I just dont want to do anything illegal" she said after a moment.
I smiled, standing up and putting a hand on her shoulder "great. of course, you'll have to leave your wallet and phone here. also, we'll be taking my car".
Sami stayed quiet, resigning after a moment and taking her phone out of her pocket and putting it on the table "my wallet and keys are in my purse" she murmured, looking at her purse by the door.
I smirked slightly, taking my keys out of my pocket "perfect. just follow me. and keep your head down, dont draw any attention" I warned before walking out of her apartment, making sure she was close behind.
Sami stayed quiet, doing as I said. She kept her head down, shaking slightly if you looked close enough. I eventually led her back to my car, and I could tell she was surprised by the quality of it.
"Get used to living the good life, hun" I smiled, opening the passenger's seat for her to sit down. She quietly did, looking up at me briefly before looking away. I smiled, sitting down in the drivers seat and starting to drive.
After around half an hour of taking various backroads, I pulled up in a seemingly abandoned warehouse, or to the trained eye, my base of operations.
Sami blinked for a moment "why.. where are we?" she asked after a moment.
"Your new home" I replied calmly, helping Sami out of the car "don't judge a book by its cover, you know". I knocked on the door four times in a rhythmic pattern, waiting until I heard three locks click. I then opened the door, revealing a modern interior with several people bustling around, either at computers or talking with one another roughly, some threatening others with guns. I smiled, looking at Sami for her reaction.
She opened her mouth, staring at everything that was happening. She stayed quiet, eventually looking at me with a slightly horrified expression on her face "you.. you're in the mafia" she said hoarsely.
