Echo's POV
Me, Jonah, and Corbyn finish watching episode four, season two, Will the Wise, and Netfix wants to know if we are still watching.
We've been sitting watching Stranger Things for the last ten hours or so and it's about one a.m at this point. The rest of the boys already went upstairs hours ago and it's just the three of us downstairs now; not to even mention my chips ran out about a season ago.
Jonah is on the verge of falling asleep - if not already alseep, even though he swears up and down he's just "resting his eyes" - and Corbyn looks as if he could finish watching the rest of the season - twice.
"You should probably go to bed bub." I cajole, rubbing up and down his arm, waking him up from "resting his eyes".
"Mm." He hums, opening his eyes quickly. "No, no, I'm okay, let's watch another episode."
I look down, shaking my head with a smile, but it's almost immediately wiped away when I hear some sort of crash from what sounds like outside.
It's probably just one of the other boys upstairs, I convince myself, not wanting to pay any mind to it.
"No, you should go up." I argue back. One again hearing a crash from what I believe to be outside.
Although, I'm not the only one who seems to have heard it this time being as Corbyn looks over at us and asks if we heard something.
"I did, yeah, but it's probably just one of the boys, right?" I reason. And just as if the universe is trying to tell us something, Zach, Daniel, and Jack come waddling down the stairs just as another crash is heard.
"Why are are guys making so much noise? It's one a.m." Daniel whines, rubbing his tired eyes.
Me and Corbyn look at eachother worriedly, then back to the three confused boys in the stairwell.
"It's not us. We actually thought it was you guys." I retort. I look around the room before my eyes set on the front door.
"Is anyone going to check to see what or who is out there? Or are we just going to ignore it?" I cross my arms, looking back and forth between the five worried boys.
They all look at eachother then back to me with pale faces; it almost looks like their pleading for me to go out there - alone.
"And before any of you ask," I clear my throat and stand up. "hell no, I am not going out there."
They look at eachother again and look at me with puppy dog faces. I refuse to look at the three on the stairs, knowing full well that I'll break if I look at Daniel - or Jack.
I cross my arm with a huff and shut my eyes, looking up in a snooty manner.
"No. I'm not going to risk my safety because you guys are being a bunch of-" My sentence is cut short by the sound of the door opening and closing.
I open my eyes and they immediately go wide, dropping my arms to my sides, at the sight of the drunken, stumbling person in the doorway. Oh no, this can't be good.
