Echo's POV

I hear the front door open and close. Thinking it's Jonah, I exit Jack's bedroom and walk out into the landing.

"Jonah?" I call and look out over the banister.

"No, he's still outside with Logan. Are Zach and Corbyn up here?" He asks walking up the stairs and over to me.

"No and yes. Corbyn followed us up here after you two- well three, went outside and I have no clue where Zach went." I lean against the banister and sigh, looking at the floor.

"Everything is going to be fine, you know that right." He smiles reassuringly at me.

I break and start crying again, and collapse into him in a hug like position. He manages to move us so we're sitting on the floor instead.

"I'm sorry." I sob into his shirt. "I shouldn't of done what I did back then, if I didn't none of this would've happened."

"No, no, it's not your fault, you couldn't have known that this would happen." He soothes, while rubbing up and down my back.

"But I knew somthing would happen. If I wouldn't just seen-" He cuts me off.

"No, you're not going to beat yourself up over this! You didn't know; point blank period. All you knew was you were young and make a bad decision that put you in a shitty position." He lightly grabs my chin with his index finger and makes me to look up at him. "It's not your fault."

"But I was the one-" He cuts me off again.

"No, you were 'the one' nothing! You did what you thought would be the best choice at the time. No one could of predicted any of this would've happened."

I close my eyes and stuff my face into his chest again, not quite sure what to say. I know he's right, even though I will never actually admit that to anyone.

"Ech- oh, sorry. Am I interrupting something?" Jack asks, looking down at us with confusion clearly written across his face.

"No! We we're, uhm, just- you know what, I honestly don't care at this point." I surrender and wipe my cheeks as Daniel releases me from his embrace.

"Right, okay, are we just going to continue going on with our lives and, like, pretend this didn't happen?" Jack asks us and we all give each other a look before shrugging.

"Yeah, basically." I shrug nonchalant. We all look at each other again and walk downstairs ignoring the previous events.

"Oh! Before I forget," I pause and stop Jack before we continue any further. "Have you seen Zach?" I question. He looks around the room quickly before turning back to me.

"No, but check the kitchen - or his room - that's where he hangs out the most." He states, giving me a brief (fake) smile, before stomping away; wonder what's up with him.

I wander back upstairs to go check in his room first, since it was the closer option out of the two. I knock on the door and hear what sounds like Zach falling over somthing.

"Ow- come in." I hear him groan from the otherside. I shake my head and open the door to see what could only be described as an interesting predicament.

"How did- oh Zach, darling, how many times where you dropped on your head?" I tease.

"Not funny." He attempts to get out before giving up with a sigh. "Please help me."

"Okay, just one second." I pull out my phone and take a video of him because a photo just wouldn't do it justice.

"Never show that to anyone, ever, I mean it, Echo, if you show that to anyone- mmm." He threatened, even though he really isn't threatening.

"Stop worrying, I would never." He gives a look and I smile innocently. "Okay maybe I would, but that not the point."

"Ugh, just help me, my arm is very uncomfortable and hurts so badly." I roll my eyes and pull his right arm out of the head whole of his shirt.

"How do you manage, Zach?" I ask him again as I try to pull his head out of the right arm whole, but give up when I realize I'll have to move his rolling chair first.

"I was changing my shirt and accidentally put my head in the wrong whole, but my left arm was already in its hole so I put my other arm in the head whole to try to get my head out - not my brightness moment - and as I was trying to get my head out, I stepped on something sticky so I was jumping around on one foot, shaking the one with the thing on it trying to get it off, tripped on what I'm guessing to be a pile a clothes, and on the way down hit my chair, it rolled over my shirt and now here are." He explains and I just break out laughing, not even trying to try to hide how funny I find the whole situation.

"How- how the hell do you manage?" I ask in between laughs. He looks at me with an angry expression and it only makes me laugh more; he's about as frightening as a litter of new born puppies.

"Shut up." He groans and throws his arm that's not stuck up in the air.
