Anonymous' POV

It is 11:07 at night.

I had locked myself inside of my room once guests of Christina and Echo's party started showing up in bulk.

I could hear the ear bleeding music vibrating throughout the house and the sound of people downstairs.

I was supposed to be with Echo right now - cuddled under the stars, with a cheesy rom-com chick flick playing in the background - but instead I was alone, thinking of how wrong this night went.

I toss myself backwards on my bed and look up to the ceiling, debating whether or not I should attempt to venture downstairs or keep myself in my room the rest of the night.

I feel my stomach grumble and it reminds me of the fact I hadn't eaten since this afternoon.

I groan, making my mind up that I was going to head downstairs and attempt to find food.

I got up from my bed, and headed towards my bedroom door. I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror on the other side of my room and it stops my dead in my tracks.

I can not be seen looking like this. My hair is a mess atop my head and my clothes look absolutely atrocious.

I quickly change into something presentable and fix my hair, taming it to the best of my ability.

I take one last look at myself - nodding in satisfaction - and exit my room, ascending quickly down the stairs.

I move through the house swiftly, grabbing a snack and fleeing back towards the stairs. Just as I'm about to walk up the stairs I hear a voice behind me.

"Omg. Oh my god! Hey, I haven't seen you in what feels like ages! How have you been?" I hear from behind me, stopping me dead in my tracks.

I turn around quickly not sure if my ear are deceiving me or not and to my horror, they were not.

"Hey, Danielle." I grimace, fighting back the urge to role my eyes at the mere sight of her. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, well, Christina invited Amanda, who invited Bridget, who invited Jaxson, who invited Becky, who asked me to come along, and you know me, I just can't turn down a party." She explained while flailing her arms around.

"Haha, yeah. Well, it was really good seeing you, but I have to-" I motion behind me. "I have to go."

"Awe, no! You can't! I haven't seen you in forever!" She whined. I started to role my eyes but stopped myself.

"I know. Maybe we could catch up later? I really have to find my friends." I make up a lie on the spot anything to get out of this conversation.

Before she could say anything more I was already fleeing towards the living room, not wanting to stick around any longer. But, having to listen to her talk my ear off would have been better than what I saw as I entered into the crowded room.

Heheh... hi.. so like sorry I've been gone. To be honest with you I don't have an excuse. So I'm really sorry. I promise I will try my best to write everyday and hopefully get a chapter or two out every week. I love you all and if you're still here after all this time I appreciate you more than I can explain. -🦉

(Hey, sorry that I took this down and then re-uploaded it a few day later with changes made to it. I realized that some of the events at the end of the previous upload wouldn't make sense with some of the stuff that's going to take place in a few chapters so I re-did this one bc rewriting the other chapter would of been hell-ish. So yea sorry if you got confused.)
