** Third Person's P.O.V **

“WHAT?!”

“What what?”

“NO, WHAT AM I DOING HERE?!”

“I told you, Nightmare wants to talk to you.”

“THAT'S DIFFERENT FROM WHAT YOU SAID!”

“So? Still the same.”

“No. it's not!”

“Okay, just go.”

Cross pushed Ink towards the room before him. Cross immediately joins in, closing the door afterwards. “He's here!” Cross yells cheerfully. “that's good.” Nightmare smiled at Cross sweetly, in return, Cross blushes a bright red. Ink looks at them with disgust. Making disgusted sounds. Wonder why Ink feels that way.

In time, we'll see.

“I don't want to be here.”

“But I want you to be here.” Nightmare stated.

“For what?”

“For something. I just wanted to tell you something. Didn't Cross tell you that?”

Ink looks at him offended. Why does it have to be this way? He'd rather die than talk to this hideous (OOF) creature. Cross nudges him from the back. “Please? Please? Pretty please.......trust him..” was all he whispered, the last part merely being a whisper. Please what?

Ink was trying to process what Cross was trying to say. His eye (sockets) widen at the thought of Cross begging for him to trust him. He glsnced at Nightmare, then to Cross. The look on Cross' face is enough to make jury stop Nightmare from getting to jail. His face is enough to define innocence. His face is enough to define cute. His face is enough to make Ink melt into a puddle and forgive Nightmare.

He can't stand that face.

He just can't.

Ink takes a deep breath.

“What do you want to talk about?”

“Let me show you something first. Then I'll tell you.”

Cross' eyes lit up brightly, realizing Ink was starting cooperate. Maybe he should make this face often but it won't work that easily. It wasn't enough to make Error get the Jar of cookies on the highest shelf in the kitchen. He ended up making Dust get it for him because he was in the vicinity of the kitchen, laughing hysterically at Cross' attempts at trying to get him to get it.

At least Dust was considerate enough.

Even Ink was considerate enough to at least talk to Nightmare. Was he though? Or was it because of Cross' irresistible face. He doesn't know, but maybe does or doesn't. It's either. If you're really reading this chapter then you know which is which. Sorry for breaking the fourth wall but it has to happen in one chapter though. The author can't help it, so please help her breaking-the-fourth-wall problem.

Ink follows Nightmare to another room, whilst Cross waits. 5 minutes later, Cross was getting bored. He knew this was going to be long so he happily skips to the kitchen and is on a expedition to find the jar of Cookies that Horror hid due to the fact the Jar of Cookies Cross was trying to reach for was his. He was mad when he found out Cross took more than 2-3 cookies out of the jar.

Horror's cookie jar is off-limits. Only he can get access to it. Cross didn't know that, it's not like that he cared if the Jar had an owner. He just didn't know the consequences to it, that's how naïve he is. He was so naïve, Nightmare didn't bother to notice that in the beginning. He just thought he was a beginner at things and didn't know how to get around people due to the fact he is living in an empty AU and that he had no one to interact with but with a genderless ghost known as Chara.

Cross happily skipped to cabinet to cabinet, and  drawer to drawer, trying to find a piece of the cookies but sadly he couldn't find it. Yet, he chose to never give up and just keep looking for it. He searched around the dining room, Horror, happened to pass by.

“What cha’ looking for, kiddo?”

“A cookie jar. Have you seen one?”

“Nope.” Horror lied. He immediately walks away before Cross could even bother to ask another question. The cookie jar is only for him, for him only and him only. The cookie jar belongs to him and only him. He sounds so yandere but it's what the author thinks because that's what she wrote.

Cross gave up looking for the cookie jar after searching for 30 minutes. He decided to go back to his and Nightmare's now shared room to a secret cabinet that Nightmare noticed wasnt there.

It was a secret stash of Chocolate hidden inside. Chocolate is more better than cookies. Cookies suck(OOF, THAT HURTS).  He smiled to himself as he took a bite of the savory chocolate. He took a few bites until he thought about something. He just realized it.

He had woken up the beast.

“CAN I HAVE SOME??!???”

Oof.

“Why are we here?”

Ink gives him a confused expression. Nightmare looks at him with a blank expression. He stares down at the ground.

“I think I know where Dream is—”

“—BUT..

Promise me...”
