-Patrick's P.O.V-
It was the last night of our tour and I was half excited, half sad. Don't get me wrong, I love hanging with my other band members, but sometimes they can drive me completely insane. I sat in my dressing room, staring into space, waiting for our turn to go on stage.
Lately though, I've been feeling kind of odd. Every day the feeling just gets stronger and stronger. My thoughts were disturbed by Joe bursting into the room.
"Yo Patrick!" he exclaimed. "Time to go on stage!"
"Okay, thanks," I say, getting out of my chair and walking out of the room.
"Aren't you forgetting something?" Andy asks as I walk into the hallway. I'm confused for a second but then remember, my fedora. I bolted back into the dressing room and grabbed the fedora. Pete laughed as I put it on and walked to the stage. I blushed and grabbed my guitar.

We piled on the tour bus after just playing our last show.
"That was awesome!" Joe shouted, high-fiving Andy.
"Yeah, but I'm glad to be going home," Pete sighed, grabbing a can of soda from the fridge.
"Me too," I agreed. I sat down on the couch and Pete sat next to me. I immediately tensed up.
"You alright, Patrick?" Pete asked, putting a hand on my shoulder.
"Yes, I think I'm just tired." I sat up very quickly and walked to my bunk. "Goodnight guys." I didn't even bother to put on pajamas, I just crawled in my bunk, closed the curtain, and zoned out.

A few hours later, Joe and Andy had gone to sleep and Pete was still up. I heard the television turn off and Pete walk over to his bunk, directly under mine. I assumed he thought I had fell asleep until I sneezed loudly. Dammit.
"Patrick?" Pete whispered.
"Yeah?" I whispered back. He opened the curtain.
"What are you doing up so late?" he asked, leaning against the side of my bunk.
"Just thinking," I sighed, not even looking at him.
"Are you sure you're alright? You seemed a little scared earlier tonight." Pete leaned in closer.
"I told you, I'm fine," I replied, crawling closer towards the wall.
"Whatever you say Pattycakes," Pete said, moving away from my bunk.
"Why do you call me that?" I laughed. "You know I don't really like it."
"Because I know you secretly love it." He climbed down into his own bunk and shut the curtain. "Goodnight Pattycakes."
"Goodnight Pete."

I was woke up by someone violently shaking my shoulders. "PATRICK WAKE UP!" Andy yelled, letting go of me.
I opened my eyes and immediately shielded them from the blinding light. "You know I don't like when you wake me up. What time is it anyways?"
"Three. In the afternoon," he sighed. "I just wanted to let you know that we're stopped for a few hours before we get home and Joe and I are gonna go explore."
"Okay, is Pete going?" I asked nervously.
"No he's staying here," Andy replied.
"Great," I muttered under my breath.
"What?" Andy asked, walking away to put his sneakers on.
"Oh, nothing." I hopped out of my bunk and sat down on the couch.
"Have fun you two," I said, turning on the television.
"We will," Joe laughed. They left and I waited anxiously to confront Pete. Minutes later, Pete walked out of the bathroom.
"Hey Patrick! You're finally up!" Pete exclaimed. He sat down on the couch, right next to me. "What's up?"
"Just watching T.V.," I tried to move farther away from Pete but I already was at the end of the couch. I think Pete noticed because he gave me a strange look.
"Okay, spill it Pattycakes. I know something's wrong. What did I do?" Pete moved closer to me.
"You did nothing, Pete. It's seriously nothing," I said, getting off the couch. Pete followed and pinned my arms against the wall. My heart rate sped up.
"Tell me right now Patrick!" he yelled in my face.
"Okay! Just let go of me!" I shouted back as I struggled to get out of his hold. He did as I said and backed up. Was I really about to tell Pete my deepest secret?
"Well," Pete said tapping his foot.
"I...I think I love you Pete."
"Patrick," Pete sighed, taking a step closer to me. "You know we're really great friends, but-"
'I know!" I shouted, walking towards the door. Tears started pouring out of my eyes. "I shouldn't have said anything."
"No Patrick!" I heard Pete shout as I slammed the door behind me.
