-Pete's P.O.V.-

I stared into Patrick's eyes as I decided whether or not I should tell him what happened. I could tell him, but he might break up with me again and I don't want that. But I also know in my heart that I should tell Patrick the truth. I'm only trying to protect him. I was brought back from my thoughts to reality when Patrick snapped his fingers in my face.

"PETE!" he yelled, trying to get my attention.

"Sorry, what?" I could see the concern in his eyes.

"You know what I'm talking about. Why did you drag me out of that coffee shop?"

I stared hard into his eyes again. It was time to make a decision, and I needed to quickly. "It was nothing, Pattycakes. The long line was just frustrating me, that's all."

"Are you sure?" He grabbed my hand gently. "You seemed a little too upset over a long line."

"Yeah, I'm feeling super impatient today. Can we just go home?"

"Sure, want to go back to my place?"

"Sounds good." I smiled at him and he smiled back. I hopped in my car and let out a huge sigh.I've never been good at keeping secrets, and it's going to be even harder to keep one from Patrick. My seat-belt wouldn't fit and I realized it was because I still had the belt buckle I left at his house in my pocket. I grabbed it and threw it into my backseat. I pulled into Patrick's driveway minutes later and I got there a few seconds before he did and reminded myself not to say anything about the picture. I sat on his couch and he sat so close to me that our thighs were touching. "Wow your house is really clean, dude."

"Did you just call me 'dude'?" Patrick giggled.

"You know it." I laughed and put my arm around him. He rested his head on my shoulder and curled up into a ball. We sat together in silence and it felt really good knowing he was by my side. I must've fallen asleep because I woke up to Patrick poking my face. I slowly opened my eyes and glared at him, which just made him laugh.

"This is gonna sound really creepy, but you look really cute when you're sleeping," he laughed. I blushed and rolled my eyes.

"Whatever."

"No! You really do!" He smiled and I can't help but smiling when he does.

"Why'd you wake me up anyways?" I stood up to stretch.

"Well it's almost 9pm and you should probably go home and practice for tomorrow's concert."

"Oh shit! I totally forgot about that!"

"Yeah, I had a feeling you did." He handed me my sweatshirt.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked as I walked towards the door.

"Nothing," Patrick smiled and opened the door for me. He gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Goodbye, Pattycakes."

I groaned and slapped my alarm clock so it would shut up. I fell back asleep and woke up after I remembered that we were supposed have a quick band meeting before the concert today. The meeting started at 9:30am and it was already 10:04am. I got ready as fast as I could and sped down the road to the venue. I walked to the stage to find Patrick and Joe sitting down, fiddling with their guitars and Andy tapping his cymbals. They all looked up and Patrick and Andy waved at me.

"Nice of you to finally show up," Joe sarcastically laughed and set down his guitar.

"Sorry I'm late, I overslept," I confessed.

"I can tell, you look like shit man." Joe stated.

"Thank you Captain Obvious. Anyways, what did I miss?"

"Well you missed the whole meeting and now we're doing sound check. But don't worry, Patrick made sure your bass is working okay."

I sat down next to Patrick and gave him a kiss. "Thanks babe, but you didn't have to do that for me."

"It's no big deal." He smiled and held my hand.

"Whoa there, keep your PDA to yourselves," Andy joked and Patrick and I both blushed. "The fans might find out." We all laughed.

"You're funny Andy, but I'm sure that won't happen."

Minutes before the show, we were all sitting in the dressing room waiting to be called to go on stage. Patrick had been nervously pacing the room for the last twenty minutes or so. I stood up and stopped him because I was worried.

"What's wrong Patrick? You haven't stopped pacing this room ever since we got here."

"I'm not sure. I mean, I'm always nervous before a show but not usually this bad. I don't know what's happening to me." He looked up at me and I could see the fear in his eyes.

I grabbed his fedora that was sitting next to him and placed it on his head, then I gave him a long kiss. "Just remember that I love you no matter what happens out there and no matter what the fans think." He gave me a weak smile and wrapped his arms around me.

"You guys are really cute together and all, but Andy and I are right here," Joe interrupted.

Before I could say anything back to him, our manager burst through the door. "Time to go boys."

"Let's do this!" Andy shouted as we filed out of the room. I gave Patrick one last quick kiss and ran onto stage.

We all high-fived each other as we stood backstage, catching our breath. If we have time after each concert, we like to go and meet some of the fans. I walked outside with my bandmates following and we were greeted with a crowd of screaming girls and surprisingly, a lot of guys too. Things were going great until these two girls, who looked like they were about 12, came up to Patrick and me. They were both wearing shirts that said "I <3 Pete" which I honestly found kind of stupid.

"Hey girls, want us to sign something?" Patrick asked them.

"No, but we just wanted to say that we love you Pete but we also love that you and Patrick are dating and we always knew that you guys were dating and that you're the cutest couple ever!" The one girl screamed.

"Wait, what?"
