Living your life cutthroat

Part 20

       As any other day I was walking around where all the local shops were I was doing some shopping before heading into work, Juice ended up calling me and telling me what they ended up doing too him and that he was going to head too TM instead of coming home I couldn't help to hold a laugh in thinking about how funny it actually was.

As I was leaving a local coffee shop I ran into a tall man who had a little bit of grey hair coming in.

"Sorry miss didn't mean to bump into you." He said looking down at me I never seen this man here before like I said before Charming is a very small town everyone knew everyone, and if you happened to be new you stuck out like a sore thumb.

"No problem at all, at least you didn't spill my coffee on me." I said laughing which he returned as well. 

"There wouldn't be any Starbucks here would there? Since I got into town I've been wanting Starbucks but can't find one." He said moving aside to let other people through which I also did so we could continue this conversation.

"No you wont find any Starbucks here, or any name brand places Charming is a small town we like to support local shops instead of the big names, you mentioned since you got into town are you visiting a family member? Not that I'm trying to get into your personal business just that...Like I said before it's a small town we all know each other and you kind of stick out like a sore thumb." I said trying to see if I can get any information out of him.

He laughed at what I said "You aren't over stepping I'm actually here for work, investigating in other words." He said which made me stand up straight the only people that investigate are cops and I as really hoping that wasn't the case so I knew I needed to turn up my charm to get more information for the club.

"Anything I can help with? I was born and raised here never left this small town." I said looking up at him with a smile

"I'm actually looking into a club, maybe you can help its called Sons of Anarchy know anything going on with them?" Hearing this made my heart drop into my stomach "I'm an ATF agent, Josh Kohn." He said sticking out his hand to shake I took his hand with a strong grip stood up taller "Nice to meet you Josh, I'm Valerie Teller and since you are investigating Sons of Anarchy you should know you have nothing to worry about them they are just a bunch of guys that share a passion of loving bikes and fixing cars, it was nice meeting you but I'm getting late for work." I said pulling my hand away and making my way towards my car as fast as I could so I could tell the guys that we have trouble in town and it doesn't look good.
