Dallon's POV

The next day

To say I was nervous would be an understatement. Not many people had seen me yet here I was about to choose someone to be my husband. Hell they might not even like guys.

"Your highness please stop panicking. You will know when you have found the right man." Said Gerard causing me to jump in surprise. "I can't help it. I just don't know how I will know." I responded miserably.

"Well you may feel funny, like thousands of butterflies attacking your stomach and they will make you feel complete. Now go." Gerard gave me a small push towards my mother and father who were already addressing the crowd. I walked towards trying to keep calm. Let's just say that I managed to look more confident than I felt.

"Dallon if you would like to start looking and we will see if one of you lucky boys will win my son's heart!" Boomed my father. I stepped down from the stage and began to walk down the long lines. No one particularly stood out to me.

I was slowly giving up on but as soon as I reached the third row, I saw him. He was quite short and had bright blue hair. I noticed that he stood quite hunched, almost as if he was in pain but also as if he was trying to hide. I calmly walked down to the boy who hadn't noticed me approaching. I cleared my throat causing his gorgeous brown eyes to snap up in fear.

"What's your name gorgeous?"

Ryan's POV

"What's your name gorgeous?"

I swallowed thickly as I looked at the prince. I cocked my head to the side, trying to work out why he was talking to me. Eventually I found the ability to utter out my name.

"I-I'm R-Ryan your highness..." I muttered quietly. He smiled. God his smile was to die for.

"Well Ryan, would you please come with me." He said offering his arm. I hesitated before carefully linking my arm in his, careful of the fresh cuts in my arm. He lead me up to the stage and I could feel everyone's eyes on us.

Eventually we came face to face with the king and queen and I bowed nervously. "Please my child you do not need to bow to us. You are going to be my son's husband which now makes you family..."

"Ryan." chimed in the prince as his mother realised she did not know my name. She nodded and handed him a ring. (A/n ring at the top)

"Ryan, will you do me the honour of being my husband?" The prince said carefully dropping down on one knee. I stood there for a second before realising that everyone was waiting for my answer.

"Y-Yes" I stuttered out, not trusting myself to say anymore. The prince stood up and carefully slipped the ring on my finger. Then it hit me.

My dad might actually try to kill me...
