Waking Up

Isaac's POV

I stood there shocked as Kat collapsed in front of me. She was just fine two minutes ago! I turn and look at the guys.

"What's wrong with her!" I ask desperately.

Will snaps out of his shock," I don't know but I'll go get the pack doctor!" He ran out of the room. Chase turned to me and said,

"We need to get her somewhere more comfortable." I nodded picking her up. I must say she was heavier than she looked but she was muscular so it makes sense. I stared fearfully at her limp body. Her head sat on my chest. The only sign of life was her shallow breathing. I ran up the stairs to the first place I could think of.... My room. I laid her down on my bed, and brushed some of her bright red hair from her sweaty forehead. She was burning up! But she was shivering as if she was cold. So I took off the sweatshirt I was wearing and put it on her. She seemed to relax after that...luckily.

"Dude she's going to be ok! I hope.." Chase said trying to make me feel better. I stood up.

"Yea you're right she's going to be fine."I said. There was a knock at my door and the doctor came into the room.

"So tell me exactly what happened." He said.

I spoke up,"well she ran here then, she met me and the guys we talked a bit then she just collapsed!" He nodded and asked,

"How long was the run here for her?"

I thought about it,"well it was 5 hours and she was at a full sprint..." The doctor sighed and when're over to her and checked her vitals.

The doctor pinched the bridge of his nose and said,"well she's going to be fine... She's just dehydrated and exhausted. But She's in amazing shape! Most wolves would have collapsed before the halfway point on a run like that, but she made it! That's impressive. Just get her lots of water when she gets up and no excessive exercise for a couple days." With that he left. I sighed in relief. Will came up next to me.

"She ran...at a full sprint... For... FIVE HOURS!" Will yelled shocked. I nodded sitting down next to my bed, the guys followed my lead and took their own spots around the bed.

"Apparently she worked out this morning but didn't get a chance to eat..." Will trailed off. we all nodded in understanding. We wolves had to eat constantly or our body shuts down. And with all her extreme exercise it was no wonder she collapsed.

Kat's POV

I groaned blinking my eyes open. My head was pounding and my muscles hurt. I groaned in pain and shifted my position.

"Kit kat! Thank god you're ok!" A voice above me yelled. I winced in pain.

"Dude lower your voice my head is killing me!" I said as I rubbed my temples. I opened my eyes to see the guys standing over me.

"How are you feeling?" The prince asked.

"Well mr. High and mighty I feel fantabulous!" I say sarcastically,"where am I anyways?" I ask looking around at the room. The room was blue and black with sports posters and different pictures lining the walls. It was my type of room. And the scent in the room was amazing it smelt like the ocean with a hint of the forest. Yum!

"Oh you're in Isaac's room." Chase said casually like it was no big deal I was in the princes room! I looked at myself realizing I was wearing a sweatshirt that I didn't recognize.

"Who's sweatshirt is this?" I ask curiously.

A deep melodic voice to my right said, "it's mine." I look over to see the prince, "you were shivering like you were cold so I put it on you and you relaxed." He shrugged.

"Oh... Well you're not getting it back! It's mine now!" It was too comfortable I wasn't giving it back.

He chuckled and gave me a glass of water, " it's my favorite sweatshirt but I guess you can have it... here the doctor said you needed a lot of water so drink up." I took the water gratefully, "oh yea here!" Will said handing me a plate filled with food, "eat up! I heard you haven't eaten much so I made you a little something."

"the other girls are going to be here soon so get ready." Isaac said as he walked away.

I quickly devoured the food on the plate before I called out,

"Wait!" he turns around his beautiful blue eyes zeroing in on me. "Yes?" He asks.

"Well first off I'm already ready... Why dress up for people I don't really care about and, secondly where's my room?" I say. He rolled his eyes.

"Your room is across the hall. and you are still all muddy." With that he walks out of the room.

I stand and look over at chase and will,

"Well let's go meet some stuck up brats! after I shower!" I exclaim. I quickly found my room and showered. once I was clean and changed into soccer shorts and one of my jerseys with my hair in a messy pony tail, I called out to Will and chase " care to join me? and meet some condescending witches?" I ask as I hold out my arms. The guys link arms with me and say,

"With pleasure!" and we all burst out laughing.
