Death doesn't make sense
One minute someone has thoughts experiences memories
The next those are just gone
Just like that
Never to be known again
I don't understand
Then those involved fade and that someone never even Existed is forgotten
Loss to the test of time
Like a wave washes away floating fallen leaves
Souls never to be known of again
Maybe washed away to better place
But us living will never know
Perhaps there lost forever
Gone
On a whim
