Flirting

"Y/N, can you please come to the set today?" My friend, Rami asks through the phone. "I want you to meet everyone."

"I don't know, Rami. You know what I'm like with people; they terrify me." I say with a laugh. While what I said is true, I know that I'm already going, mainly because he asked me to, but also because I want to know the real reason why he wants me to come.

"But you'll love these guys. Trust me, they're great. And you've already met Joe."

"From The Pacific?"

"Yep. But they also want to meet you considering they are basically hanging off my arm to eavesdrop on our conversation." Rami says, making me laugh

"Dude, you just gave us away!" I hear in the background, which makes me laugh.

"What's the real reason you want me there, Rami?" There must be something more considering he never really invites me to the sets. "Is there a girl?" I am met with silence on the phone. "So there is a girl. You should have said something sooner. I definitely have to come and see if this girl is good enough for my family friend. What's her name, anyway?"

"Lucy." I hear him say quickly and quietly on the phone, as if he doesn't want the others to hear, which makes me laugh. "I'll see you in half an hour, Y/N." And he's hung up on me, great. I quickly get into my car and drive to the set where they are currently filming the Live Aid scene and park my car beside Rami's after the security let me in.

I get out of the car and look around the huge set, suddenly feeling so small. Okay, where do I go from here?

"You must be Y/N." I hear from behind me, making me jump in fright and quickly turn around which makes the person laugh. The person standing in front of me is a tall, blonde woman, dressed in 80's clothing and she has a wide smile on her face. This girl is super pretty. "I'm sorry for giving you a fright. I'm Lucy. Rami asked me to meet you." So, this is Lucy. Well, Rami, I approve. "I can get you behind the scenes to the boys, if you want?"

"That would be great, thank you." I say in relief before catching up with her and we start to head behind the Live Aid stage. "I'm glad somebody came out, I was starting to get lost. This place is huge." I say in awe.

"Yeah, it's taken a while to get used to. I think I'm still getting used to it, actually." She says, looking around. "The boys would just be goofing around at the moment. We just finished a scene and are taking a break before carrying on with the next one."

"I wonder why Rami didn't get me, then. Not that I'm ungrateful or anything..."

"It's fine, Y/N." She says with a laugh. "I think he just wanted to give us girls a chance to meet before your surrounded by the boys." That's true. "And also, he's kind of... occupied." We turn the corner and that's when I see Rami, on the floor, cuddled up with three other guys who are obviously playing the other members of Queen.

"I am so getting a photo of this." I whisper.

"Send it to me." Lucy replies, and I quickly take a photo before she snatches my phone to put in her number and sent the photo to herself. "I also put those boys numbers in as well." She whispers to me and I give her a nod and smile as a thanks even though I don't really know why she did.

"Well, don't you guys look adorable." I say loudly, making the blonde quickly sit up and look at us, startled, while the others slowly sit up with him. "No wonder they were eavesdropping, Rami, you guys seem to be super close."

"Y/N, you made it." Rami says with a little bit of difficulty due to his teeth. "Y/N, this is Gwilym, Joe and the guy you gave a fright to, Ben." I see Ben elbow Rami in the ribs, making me laugh and I smile and wave at the boys. Ben definitely looks good as the young Roger Taylor.

Joe stands up and greets me; "My past lover!"

"Of Oreos!" He and I laugh, giving each other a hug. "It's good to see you again, Joe. But what have they done to your hair?" I ask, patting the floof ball on top of his head.

"They gave me a perm." He says with a smile.

"I can see that, you poor soul." I laugh and he moves out of my reach and back to the boys who are now all standing up.

"Let me guess, you know him from The Pacific too?" Gwilym asks and I nod in response.

"It's nice to meet you guys, though."

"It's nice to meet you too." Ben says. "Rami has told us a lot of great things about you." He smiles, sending me a wink and my cheeks instantly heat up from embarrassment. I feel Lucy elbow me from the side and I turn my head to see her smiling a cheeky smile at me.

"Really, Ben?" Rami starts, "You've only just met Y/N and yet you're already starting to flirt with her."

"I am not flirting." Ben replies defensively.

"No, you were definitely flirting there, mate." Gwilym laughs at Ben and Joe wiggles his eyebrows at me.

"Yeah, okay, whatever." Ben says and I look at him with a smile. Rami was right, I'll definitely like these people.
