Bada gumnaam-sa hogaya hai abb gumh bhi ye mera,
Abb ye bhi nahi yaad ki ye dain thi kiski.
Woh saamne aaya to khushkh hue saare gumh,
Kyuon ki gumh bhi wahi tha aur gumhkhwaar bhi wahi.

Unnamed and anonymous my grief became,
I forget the one who had gifted me this pain.
When she came across me all my scars became fresh,
Because she was the pain and the comforter itself.
