BOOK DESCRIPTION

| A Wattpad Featured Story | Wattys 2018 Shortlist |

He was a frustrated, fresh-out of college singer-songwriter. She was a frustrated, supposed-to-be graduating college student working at a milk tea café. He was supposed to sign in with a label, until his band ditched him. She was supposed to be studying, until her mom filed for divorce. They were both frustrated. They were both lost. They were both searching. . . until a cup of milk tea poured onto the music sheets. It was terrible, it was horrible. It was a giant blob of stain in contrast with the white-lined sheets. Surprisingly, though, it created a masterpiece with the perfect symphony.

REVIEW

When I first added this book to my library I hadn't given it much thought, what attracted me was the cover and the description and I thought 'this could be a good book if I read it' and I added it but immediately I read it (I'm not exaggerating) I was hooked on it, I couldn't drop it, I couldn't leave it. I just loved it, I read it till the dead of the night and into early morning and only got a few hours' of sleep because I couldn't just drop it till I finish it.

The character development was beautiful, the main character, serenity, i could relate with her in some ways. I loved her personality and uniqueness, even though she annoyed me when she did certain things but this character actually felt like a real person to me. The author really did justice to her character, she was a girl that craved to be loved and gave her all to who she loved so much that they kept on breaking her heart but by the end she evolved, she grew out of that phase, she was able to stand on her own, she became independent and her newly found personality relieved me.

The other character were great, you could tell off each of their different characters and personalities. I also enjoyed Imogen's character as well, she was like a big sister to serenity even when she decided to pick the boy she loves over her friends.

This story was told from second person POV so as I read it, it gave out this poetic vibe and it was unique. Some chapters made me feel emotional.
