Book Description: Stephen Hall has never once doubted his status. The son of esteem pastor Marcus Hall and his wife Evelyn, Steven was born atop the tentative peak of public opinion within his ecclesiastical city of obsequious religious devotion. And when new adoptee and Muslim turned Christian Ahmed HeavenState enrolls in Edgeway academy, the social domain over which Steven rules, the two boys are immediately thrown into conflict. But no schoolyard rivalry, personal or otherwise, can prepare these warring adolescents for the discovery of the brutalized corpse in the school's main building. As the passions and prejudices of new acquaintance begin whirling throughout their town of cryptic stares and decades-old-secrets, Steven and Ahmed will discover a truth more terrifying than anything their paragon of sacred laws and tradition would dare allow them to believe.
REVIEW:
Before I begin I want to say I'm really sorry to those that sent out review request, I had been busy but then I became such a lazy writer but I actually read your books, my laptop got some issues and I had to get it fixed but well I'm back, officially.
Now the review, before we begin I would like to say that the author of this book did a really great work on it, I must commend her for her effective use of suspense and great plot. It was something I barely see upcoming writers portray.
To the review;
TITLE: I would say you did try here, but well it might not exactly be as clear as possible for the readers, I know you would want to portray what the book is all about in the title but I think you should still try to work on a more captivating title.
SUMMARY: You did a great job here, you have out information about your book without giving away the whole plot which some writers fail to do BUT you used complex words that might throw your aspiring readers off balance because they might not know what the meaning of those words are.
You used words like 'Tentative', 'Ecclesiastical' and 'Obsequious'.
These words to a normal person that doesn't know a lot of words, someone used to the basic might just confuse them. It would be preferable if you used simpler words to help other writers who doesn't know the meaning (let's prevent someone scampering to find a dictionary just to understand your summary).The big words as well reduced the perfectly good suspense in the summary. The summary had a good suspense that would grab the readers attention but like I said those words might just throw them off balance.
COVER: The cover is a NO, I get that you might have made it as a last minute something to give your story a look but I will highly recommend you request for a new cover, there are cover shops on Wattpad you could check out or you might as well send me a DM and I'll link you up to someone to could do a really fine job for you.
Because I will tell you the truth, we are human and we DO judge a book by it's cover.GRAMMAR: I see the real effort, it was almost flawless but (there's always a but) you confused yourself with the pronouns.
