SCHOOL WENT ON. WITHIN ONE WEEK I HAD GOTTEN TO KNOW A FEW PEOPLE here as well. I wasn't friends with any of them but more of acquaintances.

People were more interested in new girl, Cordelia Moore. She had made quite the impression on everyone around her. She drew them in. Unlike Petal or I she had no problem finding somewhere to sit.

Cordelia wore designer clothes each day stating she came from a wealthy family. Something about her just struck me wrong. I didn't know her that well, but I already didn't like her. Petal didn't seem to care about her, so I did my best to ignore her.

But if she happened to bully Petal it would be all over from there. I didn't have to acknowledge her. Or at least that's what I thought until lunch.

"Hey Petal." I said with a smile as I sat down with my chicken wrap. Petal looked up at me and gave me a smile as I sat down with her. Petal had a grilled cheese sandwich in front of her along with a brownie.

She pushed her white hair behind her ear as she took a bite of her grilled cheese.

"How's school been?" I asked and she looked up.

"It's been okay, could you help me with some of my math homework after school?" Petal asked and I nodded with a smile directed towards her.

"Of course. What kind of math is it?" I asked.

"Algebra." Petal told me as she finished her grilled cheese. I nodded as I took a bite of my chicken wrap before turning back to her.

"Yeah, I can help you with that when we get back home." I told her and Petal smiled.

"Thank you Mak." Petal murmured as she looked up and froze. I followed her gaze to the side of the small table where Cordelia Moore stood. She smiled at us and offered her hand to me which I reluctantly shook.

"Is this seat free?" She asked referring to the one next to me.

"Yeah." I said and Petal looked over at me.

Cordelia smiled as she sat down and placed her tray of lunch down. I looked up at her. Cordelia had long curly black hair and amber eyes with red hues. She wore optical tweed skirt and jacket from Gucci showing her wealthy status.

Petal looked over at me and I gave her a smile which she returned. "You two are new as well if I'm correct?" Cordelia asked.

"Yup, we just moved here." I told her and Cordelia nodded.

"I just moved back here. I lived here when I was younger, lovely town." Cordelia said and I nodded at that.

With that we turned back and started eating our food as Cordelia watched Petal.

"School go well today?" Quinton asked as Petal and I got into the pick-up truck.

"Yeah, it went good." I told Quinton as Petal settled down into the back and set her bag down before looking back.

"Do you know what we are having for dinner?" Petal asked.

"Mom gave me money to pick some food up, so whatever you two want."  Quinton answered.

"Can we get some pizza?" Petal asked and Quinton nodded.

"Pizza good?" Quinton asked me and I nodded before he drove off and stopped at a pizza shop and bought cheese pizza and sausage pizza along with chicken wings, bread sticks, and some cookies for dessert before we headed back to the house.
