🔹chap. 1: we met🔹

a/n: welcome to my brand new fanfic! this story is centered entirely around the color blue. mostly baby blue, but all blue is included.

the little blonde boy watched out the living room window as two men moved boxes into the next door house. the house next door had been for sale since antonio could remember.

it would be weird to have people there now. but perhaps he could make a new friend.

antonio got down from his spot at the window. he wanted to check out who was moving in next door. his mother approved of his plans, and off he went. he went as fast as his little legs could take him.

once the little boy arrived, he was able to get a good look of who was there. there was the two moving men, and then there was who he assumed was moving in. a man, a woman, and a little girl, who looked around his age.

he walked towards them with a slow stride. his little freckled face showed an expression of curiosity. he decided to finally speak up.

"um, excuse me." he said in a quiet tone. the family all turned collectively around.

"well hello, little guy! what're you doing here? where are your parents?" the woman questioned antonio, whilst looking around for any sign of a parental figure. he simply pointed to his house. the woman nodded. "well, nice to meet you new neighbor." she chuckled. "what's your name?"

"a-antonio. antonio higgins." antonio rocked back and forth on his feet. meeting new people was nerve wracking for the 7 year old boy. the mom smiled.

"well, antonio, would you like to meet our little girl?" the father finally spoke up. antonio simply nodded. the mother whipped around. "y/n! come here sweetie!" she called out.

suddenly, the little girl antonio had previously seen came running over. she looked up at her mother with a questioning look. she gestured to antonio and kneeled down to their level. "y/n, this is antonio. he's our new neighbor!"

he stood and stared at the girl. she was the prettiest girl he had ever seen. she had her h/c hair in low bunch pigtails, and she was wearing a light blue poofy dress. he watched as she gave a small wave. he shyly returned the wave and gave a a smile.

a smile appeared on her face. she took a step towards him and reached her hand out for him to shake.

"hi toni! i'm y/n!"
