it has been thirty minutes since you hung up the phone and you and the child services officer are at the hospital with Lily and Dominick
"so you must be Lily Hayes I'm Nick and I need you to tell me what happened after Chloe took you home," the child services officer says introducing himself
"well we got home and then she told me to go wait in my room. She came back with a baseball bat and she started bashing me with it" Lily replies
"I had to run"
"excuse me detectives do you mind if I talk to Lily alone?" Nick asks
"No, we don't (Y/N) let's go," Dominick says answering for the both of you
thirty seconds later and you and Dominick have stepped outside
"I Know the foster mother," you say
"how?" he asks
"she was the hag that killed my brother," you say knowing that it might be the time for revenge
Two minutes later and the child services officer has done and he is outside talking to you and Dominick
"so what are we going to do," You ask
"we will remove Lily from Chloe's care but we don't have anyone in New York that can look after her yet," Nick says
"I'll do it," you volunteer
"are you sure you're able to look after her?" Dominick asks
"yes It will be fine, I had to look after my brother when I was younger," you reply
"and I should be able to do my job"
"ok then it's settled once Lily is discharged she will be in (Y/N)'s care," the child protection officer says
