Ch 6: I'll Text You

It was Monady. I dreaded Mondays. I was in American History just starring into space, untile the teacher started announcing something that caught my ear.

"You must pair up with a partner, and make a replica of a major event in the civil war!" She announced. Everyone started talking to each other to find a partner. I sat in my seat, waiting for the unfortunate person who didn't get a partner to find me. But to my suprise, someone stood at my desk pretty soon.

"Tj?" I asked, looking up to confirm the blonde boy was standing at my desk.

"Hey dorky. Can you be my partner?" He asked.

"Yeah sure!" I exclaimed, a little to excitedly.

"Thanks." He blurted as he took his seat again. I looked over to him. He was drawing something in his notebook, but I couldn't see it well enough. Then Tj looked over and saw me staring. I quickly turned around to try to hide the blush of embarrassment creeping up on my face. Tj then leaned over to me.

"Taking a picture would last longer dorky!" He whispered.

"Be quiet Tj!" I whispered yelled, causing a chuckle out of Tj. I looked at him again, he was looking at me with a grin.

"Ahem! Are you two done with your chatter?" The teacher yelled. Me and Tj both looked away. Another blush creeping on my face.

~ Time skip to Lunch! ~

I was in line for a chocolate chocolate chip muffin once again. For some reason though, the line today was much longer than usual. At this point, I was worried I wasn't going to be able to get a muffin. They'd all be gone! I then see Jonah walk beside me with a chocolate chocolate chip muffin, and I stop him.

"How many muffins are still there?" I asked worried.

"Only about 4 left. Hopefully no one buys them!" He replied, then left. Wow Jonah. You couldn't just buy me a muffin, and I would've repaid you. I was brought out of thoughts when I felt someone poke me.

"Oh! Hey Tj!" I exclaimed in suprise. What was he doing? He then handed something wrapped ina napkin to me. I quickly unwrapped it to find,

"A chocolate chocolate chip muffin!" I shouted in joy.

"I remember the day I took the muffin you were going to get. So I'm repaying you." Tj stated.

"Thanks. I can repay you-"

"No. No need to repay me dorky! Seeing you being flustered and blush over me is payment enough!" He exclaimed. I blushed at that sentence.

"I wasn't blushing over you!" I yelled.

"Okay then. If you say so." He blurted.

"If you two are done flirting, please get out of line!" The kid behind us yelled.

"We weren't flirting!" I snapped back at him. I turned back to Tj who had a small frown on his face. "What's wrong?" I asked

"Oh, nothing!" He shouted quickly. I told Tj goodbye and went back to my table, where my friends were talking about hair conditioner.

"What type do you use Andi?" Buffy asked.

"I use dove!" She exclaimed.

"Me too!" Jonah exclaimed as well. All of us looked at Jonah.

"You use conditioner?" Andi asked.

"Yeah? It's perfectly normal for a boy to use hair conditioner...and concealer." Jonah mumbled.

"Woah, woah, woah! Hold up!" Andi shouted. I looked over at Buffy, who sat across from me.

"You did really great at the game!" I told her.
