Ch 12: It's Over Idiot!

I'm over reacting. I have to be! It was just a hug, that's a normal display of affection Cyrus. I told myself these things, but I still felt angry and depressed. What if he was dating this girl?

"CYRUS!" Jonah yelled. I was startled out of my thoughts, and looked up at Jonah.

"Yeah?"

"Why are you so spaced out? You've been like this the entire evening!" Jonah stated. We were at The Spoon hanging out with Buffy and Andi.

"I'm sorry, I swear!" I shouted. My friends keep worrying over me. I don't want them to worry but still, I can't help but feel angry.

"Cyrus, can we talk?" Jonah asked. I nodded my head and we went outside.

"What is it Jonah?"

"Tj?" He asked me. I didn't really know how to respond to it at first, but then I realized that he's asking if Tj is the thing worrying me.

"Yeah," I mumbled. Jonah pulled me into a hug. After a few seconds of his embrace, I felt relaxed.

"Thanks Jonah,"

"No problem Cy," He exclaimed. We went back inside and took our seats across from Buffy, but no Andi.

"Andi had to go to the restroom. What were you guys talking about?" Buffy asked us.

"Tj," I blurted. Buffy's smiled faded. She was about to say something until a waitress approached.

"Hi, I'm Amber I'll be ur server today. Any drinks for anyone?" Amber asked.

"Chocolate milkshakes for 5." Buffy stated. I looker up at the girl and noticed something. It was her. Amber was the girl Tj hugged. I felt fire form within my stomach.

"You were with Tj!" I yelled, startling Amber.

"Oh. Tj who? Tj ki-"

"Kippen!" I yelled, cutting Amber off.

"Yeah, I know him. Were pretty close." Amber stated. Pretty close? What does that mean.

"If you exuse us, we're gonna leave." Jonah stated getting up pulling me with him.

"But you never got any food!?" Amber stated, comfused from our sudden decision.

"It's fine." Buffy stated, following me and Jonah. We all three walked outside and towards what I would guess Buffy's house. Once we arrived we went straight to Buffy's room.

"Okay, so my mom isn't here so we are going to yell as much as we want!" Buffy exclaimed. Her and Jonah looked at me, waiting for me to complain about something.

"Tj is straight," I stated with a plain voice. Bothe of them had a shocked look on their faces.

"Seriously? You're joking right? All the times Tj bought you a muffin, touched you, flirted nonstop with you...he was straight?" Jonah asked.

"Yes," I muttered, feeling a tear roll down my eye. I quickly wipe away any wetness in my eyes. I didn't want to cry over Tj.

"That girl at The Spoon...was she Tj's girlfriend or are they dating?" Jonah asked me, putting a hand on my shoulder. I sat down on Buffy's bed, Jonah soon doing the same. Buffy still stood.

"Yeah. This entire time, Tj was with a girl...How could he do this!" I shouted, feeling tears swelling up in my eyes again.

"Cyrus, it's okay! Everything is going to be fine!" Jonah exclaimed in a calming voice, hugging me. Hugging didn't work this time though. I saw Buffy clench her fist, then start walking away.
