Brynn

I feel my head pounding, experiencing pain throughout my entire body. Where the hell am I?
I tried to open my eyes but failed.

"She should wake up anytime now." An unfamiliar voice said making the pain in my head unbearable. I hold my head with my hands running it slowly. "She just moved." I hear a now familiar voice say. I tried to open my eyes again to be met with a white ceiling.
I frown, this is definitely not my room.
I try to sit up but a sudden pain shot through my stomach so I laid back down while seeing three blurry figures.

"Dear, how are you feeling?" A soft familiar female voice asked me. Slowly my vision became clear and I stared right into my mother's eyes. Next to her stood my dad and behind them stood Jason. Wait for what?

Jason?

In the same room as my parents?
I stare past my parents right into Jason's precious brown orbs.
"Jason.." is all I could say.
He had a little mustache and his hair was a bit longer but he still looks hot asfuck. He came closer to me taking my hand.

"I missed you so much." He whispered.
I smiled at him, he's the most precious boy ever.

I remember the day now. The day I got shot,I mean took the bullet for him. You know why I did it? Because I love him and I would do it again.
"How long have I been here?" I asked him.
"A little over a month." He said.
My eyes widened. Is he serious?
I opened my mouth to speak but he cut me off.
"Don't worry, the boys are helping you with school since Y'all have the same class." He smiled reading my mind.
I look over to my parents who just stand there with a shocked look on their face.

"Tell me this is all a joke." My dad said with despair in his voice.
"You don't know him as I do," I said defending Jason. The last thing I need now is them getting in the way of me and Jason.
"We know enough." My dad said.
"He's the reason you're here right?" He asked glaring at Jason. Why is he so mad? He doesn't even know Jason, if only he knew how happy he makes me.
"Explain it then." My mother now spoke. Before Jason could say anything I spoke. "I am in love with him, and I want to be with him. That's all that needs to be said. You can't forbid me to see him because we go to the same school." I said. Knowing my dad he'd forbid me to see him.

"I can forbid it, and I will!" He yelled suddenly Jason squeezed my hand a little trying to calm me. I could see him getting angry too, he didn't like when people yelled at him or me.
I see him trying not to do anything stupid and I love him for that right now.

"Brynn, you are getting released, we took some tests and everything is normal now. You're free to leave." The nurse said who walked in on this very awkward situation.
Jason helped me get out of my bed and he took my jacket and I walked past my parents.

"Where do you think you're going young lady?" My dad yelled behind me.
"I'm staying with Jason." I calmly said without looking back at them.
We walked outside together as I spotted his car. He opened the door for me as I got in after that he took place in the driver's seat and sped off.

"You should talk to your parents about this." He said.
"I want to be with you Jason. Only you. If they don't accept that, that's their problem. They should be happy for me." I mumbled trying to hold back my tears. I've never talked to my parents like this. I felt pretty bad about it too but honestly I want to be with Jason right now and only him. Feeling his love and his soft touch. Not my parents who will ask a million questions.

I need Jason.

The now familiar mansion came into sight. Jason opened the gates and drove inside closing the gates behind him. Honestly, this feels like a second home to me.
I smile just looking at it and thinking about the boys.

Oh, I totally forgot my friends.

"Do you mind if I call my friends first?" I ask Jason and he nodded.
"I will wait outside the car, you can call them from inside the car. I'm not leaving you out of my sight baby girl." He smiled while kissing my forehead. But before he got out I pulled him back putting my lips on his softly.

"I love you," I whispered in his ear while closing my eyes.
"I love you too princess." He said before pecking my lips one more time and after that, he got outside the car.

I called the group chat.

"BRYNN??" I hear Kyle scream into my ear. I laughed. Damn, he hasn't changed one bit. "I am not on the other side of the world but I am definitely deaf right now." I chuckled.
Honestly, I missed him yelling tough.
"I missed you like crazy! How are you?" Mia asked. I could hear that she was genuinely happy to hear me. "Why didn't you call when you got released, we could've picked you up," Naomi asked.

"I'm at Jason's right now."

"I'm glad that he's good for you, the past month has been hell for him. We could see it in his eyes whenever we saw him." Naomi said making me feel a bit sad. I don't like thinking about Jason being sad.
"How about we go to Monroe's after school tomorrow? Just us." I asked. They all agreed. "You're coming back tomorrow already?"
"Yes, you should rest a bit." Kyle and Mia both said.
"I know, but I already missed a lot. So I am coming." I had to go. I didn't want to fail this year. Next year I'm a senior and I'm not gonna be stuck at this high school while all my friends graduate.

We said our goodbyes before I hung up. I got out of the car and the cold March air hit me immediately.

I could see the sun peeking through the clouds.
The power, ingenuity, and sheer beauty found in nature has always fascinated me.When we take the time to examine the beauty of the world around us, we are able to see parallels within our own lives. I looked at the forest. The wind whispers to the waiting trees,
A special summons to rouse their spirit;
Strumming their branches with a breeze,
And swirling the few leaves to add some merit.

I stood there a while admiring this little place in the world. Looking at the sky through the threes. Soon I felt a pair of strong arms around my waist.

"What are you thinking about baby?" Jason whispered in my ear while kissing my neck. I left out a little moan enjoying this. It's been so long since I felt his touch.
Even though I was in a coma, I could feel the time gap.

"Just admiring nature," I said placing my hands on his arms.
"It's beautiful isn't it, how something right in front of us can hide so many secrets. You see these beautiful places but at the same time you don't." He said. It was really new for me to hear words like that leave Jason's mouth.

I turn around to get a better look at him.
When I look at him I see a precious lover. One that'll never leave me. He holds the key to my heart. Even after what happened, I put my fate in him believing he will make sure I'm safe.
He smiled down at me.
His smile gets me every time, it warms my heart.

I fell in love with this boy right in front of me. I don't believe in fate but I believe we are fated. He actually puts an effort in me. I've never felt a love like this before. Let alone felt love.

He cupped my face with his large hands looking right through my eyes into my soul.

"I promise to be your strength." He said while giving me kisses all over my face.
